Title : Are You Tired of Doing Good

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9" Devotion : It pays to do good. We have been called into the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ to be fruitful in every good work (Colossians 1:10). The opening scripture reveals a secret about showing kindness to others; it says when begin to feel weary or tired of doing good, we should be alert because that is the very point when our harvest or reward is due. If we press on just a little more, our harvest will be waiting for us to reap it. Therefore, my fellow brethren, the sign for the reward or harvest is the point at which you feel like giving up; it is the enemy's trick to attempt to get you to react negatively to your feelings and lose the reward. Let kindness or doing good be your lifestyle just like it was for Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Acts 10:38). Title : Dont Take God for Granted

"But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Mark 3:29" Devotion : Jesus made the profound statement in the opening scripture. He said anyone who speaks abominable words against the Father and the Son will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks abominable words against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven but punished instead. It is our responsibility to please the Holy Spirit because He has come to dwell in us and with us forever; He is here to help us, but He needs our cooperation. Let's not take Him for granted or speak irreverently against Him. He might not spare us. Dear beloved, are you taking the Holy Spirit for granted? My answer is - NO. Title : There Is Hope for You

"Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. Isaiah 54:1" Devotion : The Lord God Almighty is a wonder, and His wisdom is unsearchable. He has given the barren in His kingdom the utmost opportunity to be fruitful. He said the barren need not cry, complain, or become bitter and discouraged. It is time for them to sing unto the Lord Jesus Christ; it is time for them to sing spontaneously and cry aloud in prayer. He said that their children are many and full of wonders, and that is why they are going through that period of barrenness. It is just a period of testing; it will pass away. This principle was applied by Rebekah, Hannah, and Elizabeth, and they gave birth to mighty men of valor. Dear beloved, if it seems you are barren, don't be worried; instead, continually sing and cry aloud unto God, and y...

Title : You Need the Power of the Holy Spirit

"And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Luke 1:35" Devotion : The Holy Spirit is needed to ensure your success in whatever good endeavor you are engaged in. The fact that you are good or that the endeavor you are engage in is good does not guarantee a fruitful result. You need the power of the Holy Spirit to bring it to a perfect end. There were many virgins in Nazareth of Judea, but it took the Holy Spirit to have favor with Mary to endue her with power to conceive and give birth to Jesus Christ. There is nothing impossible for the Holy Spirit, but you must be born again to receive the power of the Holy Spirit. After you are born again, He comes to live in you. Then you can ask Him to empower you through desire, fasting, persistent prayer, and waiting. The initial sign that He has anointed you w...

Title : Is Poverty Your Friend

"Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: Proverbs 6:10" Devotion : The Holy Scriptures have revealed to us how poverty can be identified so that we can either choose to avoid it or befriend it. Poverty is an attitude: When you begin to love sleep, slumber, and idleness, you have befriended poverty, and in no time, you will begin to experience lack and poverty. Poverty is dangerous; it can cause you to sell all your assets, and it can even influence you to commit a crime. Avoid too much sleep and idleness; instead, be industrious, enjoy working, and you will have enough to spare. Dear beloved, have you ever experienced poverty and lack? Title : You Can Defeat Anxiety

"Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad. Proverbs 12:25" Devotion : One of the weapons of the enemy against the saints is anxiety or worry. He uses it to demoralize Christians or create doubt in their hearts, but the Almighty God has given the saints the weapons they need to overcome anxiety. The first weapon is the good word: You need to hear a good word to defeat anxiety. The good word is found in the Holy Scriptures; therefore, find a scripture that is related to that worry, declare it to yourself, and the anxiety will disappear. The second weapon is to give thanks and praise to God for what He has done for you; as you sing and thank Him, the burden of worry will be lifted from you. The last weapon is to pray, especially in other tongues, and the Holy Ghost will crush the anxiety. Hallelujah! Title : How to Receive Great Things from God

"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3" Devotion : The opening scripture demonstrates to the children of God that they can receive great and mighty things from God. The key is to call to God in faith by using His Word. He is always ready to hear us, and He never gets bored of our prayers. He wants to show us great and mighty things that we don't know. The Bible tells us that there are heights in the spirit realm that God wants us to attain. He wants us to reach the height where we can see from where He sees and can comprehend Him a height of no limits, where all things are possible. Let us give importance to fellowship with our heavenly Father and commune with Him on a frequent basis so that we can see great and mighty things. Dear beloved, which realm are you in? Title : God Reserves the Best for His Leaders

"The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. Timothy 2:6" Devotion : God is love, and He knows those who are working tirelessly for Him. As a leader Himself, He knows what His leaders are going through daily as they dutifully accomplish everything set before them. They are the ones who are severely attacked by the enemy and his cohorts of darkness. They also bear the pressure of their members. Because of this, God Has made provision for them to be the first to partake of the fruits of their labor. This is the reward Jesus Christ has put in place to motivate His leaders. Therefore, don't be envious or criticize when you see the leaders of the church wearing a nice suit, driving a fancy car, living in a fine house, or having a beautiful family. They deserve the best as they keep working for the master. Dear beloved, do you want the very best from God? What must you do? Title : Be Consistent in Your Ways

"The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. Psalm 145:17" Devotion : How do you feel when you read a scripture like the opening scripture? God Almighty is a living example to His children; no wonder Apostle Paul, by the inspiration of God, said we should be imitators of God as dear children (Ephesians 5:1). The Lord is righteous in all His ways. Every formula, method, procedure, and path of God are without deception; they are all geared toward the good of humanity. He is holy and gracious in all His works, and since His ways are blameless, the final product is full of the ability to provide satisfaction and He does His works with joy. As a child of God, you ought to always find the righteous ways to go about your duties wherever you find yourself. Let your work be full of joy, and work with excellence to satisfy your clients. Title : Can You Betray Jesus Christ

"And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. Matthew 26:21" Devotion : I'm sure if you were one of the disciples of Jesus Christ, you would also be wondering who would be the one to betray Christ when Jesus said one of them would betray Him. All of them were faithful from the beginning; they were sent in pairs to win souls, cast out demons, and heal diseases. As time passed, some of them became more familiar with Jesus Christ and took Him for granted. Judas Iscariot became corrupt and sold out Jesus Christ to the chief priests, the scribes, and the Pharisees. Believers in Christ Jesus are the disciples of Christ; some are faithful, and a few have betrayed Christ Jesus. If you cannot boldly say that Jesus Christ is your God, you have betrayed Christ. If you cannot boldly claim that you are a Christian, you have betrayed Christ. If you cannot defend the Bible or the Holy Scriptures, you have betrayed Christ, etc. Dear beloved, is yo...

Title : Why Must You Put Your Trust in God

"They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. Psalm 125:1" Devotion : Some people put their confidence in idols and others in personality, knowledge, money, etc. All of these will pass away; they don't have the power to save the human soul. On the other hand, those who trust God and put their trust in the Holy Scriptures shall be like Mount Zion, which cannot be removed but abides forever. Mount Zion is the dwelling place of God, so those who trust God and our Lord Jesus Christ will be in the presence of God, which lasts forever. If you have put your trust in the Holy Scriptures and it seems things are not going in your favor, the opening scripture should encourage you to move on because God is with you and you will never be shaken or removed. Title : Do You Believe in Jesus birth

"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21" Devotion : The true story about Jesus Christ of Nazareth is one of a kind, and it cannot be put under a rug but rather ought to be celebrated forever. Never before or after has a virgin become pregnant, but it happened to Mary. Joseph, her betrothed husband, could not comprehend it and had wanted to divorce her privately. However, the angel convinced him in a dream not to be afraid or worried, and he accepted her as his betroth wife. Jesus Christ was born, and He accomplished God's purpose by saving mankind from their sins. This is a very good example of how God wants to work with His children to accomplish His will on Earth. Joseph and Mary availed themselves to God and must be very happy now in heaven to have been given such an honor. He is the only one born by a virgin, whose name is so powerful to save the lost and provide answers to desper...

Title : You Can Be a Pattern of Good Works to Others

"In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Titus 2:7" Devotion : Christians are the light of the world and are expected to be patterns of good works in their sphere of influence. The most important areas God wants us to demonstrate good works in are doctrine or teaching; the doctrine of Christ should not be diluted but rather taught in sincerity and with certainty. The second area is in our speech, and what we say should be checked so that only healthy speech proceeds out of our mouths. The tongue has power to produce life and death, and it must be used correctly because the devil and his children are on their guard to condemn our speech (Proverbs 18:21). Our good works, however, will put them to shame because they will not be able to find anything to use against us. Dear beloved, it is possible to live a good legacy for the world to copy. Title : The Triune Man

"And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thessalonians 5:23" Devotion : The opening scripture is a confirmation that mankind is a triune being. He is a spirit made up of the soul and the body, so man consists of spirit, soul, and body. Sometimes the Holy Scriptures interchange the spirit and the soul because both form the inward man. The body and its senses form the outward man. The spirit of man is the image of God; the soul consists of the mind, will, and emotions; and the body consists of the cells, tissues, organs, organ systems, and five senses. The Most High wants the spirit, soul, and body to be balanced, and it is the Christian's duty to ensure that his spirit, soul, and body are balanced, sanctified, and preserved blameless unto the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The nourishment of the spirit and soul is the Holy Scriptures, prayer, and fel...

Title : No More Curse

"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Galatians 3:13" Devotion : One of the blessings that born-again Christians receive from Elohim is a curse-free life. The curse that the opening scripture is talking about is the worst curse in the world. No other curses can compare to it. There is no curse that can work against any Christian because this curse, the worst curse that forms the basis of all other curses, has been destroyed by Christ Jesus. Any Christian who thinks he is being tormented by generational curses should use this scripture to beat the enemy, and he will be free both psychologically and physically; the enemy will always throw lies at you hoping to deceive you into believing that you are suffering from family curses or generational curses. Challenges may come to the believer in Christ Jesus, but it is not as a result of curses. Instead, it is part of the Christian...

Title : Corrupt Communication

"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Ephesians 4:29" Devotion : Any word that comes out of your mouth that is not the Word of God and does not promote the work of God is corrupt communication. It is the kind that does not inspire but rather seeks to promote all manner of evil. A good communication is any word that proceeds out of your mouth to bless lives and to give people hope to keep loving God and other people. As a child of God, use your mouth wisely to bless lives and impart grace to people. Let people come to you for peace and comfort, and let them leave with hope and confidence in Christ Jesus. Finally, know that your mouth was given to you by God to chart a good course for your life and so that you can be a living example in word and deed. Dear beloved, what was your mouth created to do? Title : Experiencing Total Prosperity

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Psalm 1:1" Devotion : For believers in Christ Jesus to experience total prosperity, there are three things they must not do and two things they must do. According to the opening scripture, the three things you must not do are not take advice or counsel from the ungodly, not use the sinners' formula to run your life, and not associate with those who are not serious about life. On the other hand, the two things that you must do are delight in or enjoy the Word of God and meditate or create mental pictures with the Holy Scriptures. If you are able to live by these five principles, you will live in total prosperity. Dear beloved, do you want to experience total prosperity? Do you know what you must do? Title : Love Is Giving

"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 1 Corinthians 13:4" Devotion : Love is a decision and choice that we must make to also enjoy it in time of need. In the world today, love has been misrepresented by various kinds of lust. True love is patient, is kind, promotes others, is not boastful, and is not proud. Anything parading itself as love that lacks any of the above qualities is not love. If we claim we love the brethren and our actions lack the qualities of love, we are hypocrites. Also, when we show love to the brethren, we should not expect them to pay us back but rather expect the reward from our Lord Jesus Christ. Finally, we should come to the point where we show love to others because it is good to love and not because we will be rewarded in the end. Dear beloved, do your actions meet the requirements of love? Share your comments here. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.k...

Title : Gods Plan for Us

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11" Devotion : Our heavenly Father has a very good plan for us, and this is demonstrated by His thoughts toward us. He is a God who knows what He is about; in fact, He is the master planner. Whatever we are going through as believers in Christ Jesus is part of the master plan of our Father. The expected end in our opening scripture is called the master plan, and the expected end is for us to enjoy continual peace and prosperity. If God's thoughts concerning us are peace and not evil, then what are our thoughts toward God and our brethren? Our thoughts toward our heavenly Father should be that of peace and not complaining and murmuring. Our plans for God should also be to always please Him. Our thoughts toward our brethren should promote peace and love so that the work of God and our Lord Jesus Christ is done without any hindrances....

Title : Know Your God, don't deny Him.

"But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. Job 2:10" Devotion : There are people who quickly turn their backs on God when things do not go the way they expected. The Israelites were also fond of doing that when they were in the wilderness. They complained and murmured when they encountered any challenges or difficulties, and they were quick to praise their time in Egypt even though they were subjected to forced labor there. Job's wife represents the children of God who think the Christian race must always be rosy even though this is not the case. Job was a man of understanding though; he rebuked his wife and educated her that sometimes God allows trials for His children to test and promote them. He did not sin against God, and in the end, he was given double of all that he had lost (Job 42:12). Christians must know their...

Title : The Witness of the Holy Spirit

"And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3:17" Devotion : While Jesus Christ walked this earth, He was baptized by John the Baptist. After the baptism, He obtained a witness from the Holy Spirit, and John the Baptist also heard this voice of witness. In the same way, we also need this witness from the Holy Spirit that we are the children of God. If you are a Christian and you don't have this personal witness from the Holy Spirit, then you need to find out what is wrong (Romans 8:16). You are either just professing that you are a Christian but deep inside you are not or you are a babe in Christ. Every true Christian should be sure of his or her salvation through the witness of the Holy Spirit; otherwise, he or she will be living in vain. Title : Separated unto God

"And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. Leviticus 20:26" Devotion : In the Old Testament, the Israelites were separated unto God; the Almighty God made the Israelites His children and considered the other nations to be Gentiles. The Israelites were considered holy and the Gentiles unholy or unclean. In the New Testament, Christians are called the children of God, that is, those who have made Jesus Christ their Savior and Lord. These Christians are separated unto God as a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a special people (1 Peter 2:9). Our Father wants us to be conscious of who we are in Him and to live a holy life for Him so that He can boast of us. We don't have to intermingle with the world; if we love with the world, the love of the Father is not in us (1 John 2:15). We have been called out of the world to shine as the lights to the world, so let us be proud to say we are holy instead of...

Title : The Power of the Mind

"I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psalm 16:8" Devotion : The Lord is God, and by His very nature, He wants first place in our lives. Whatever continually occupies your mind is your "god." The psalmist placed the Lord first in his life, and his mind was always occupied with God. As a result, the Lord was also close to him and established him. The psalmist became unmovable and unshakable. The same thing will happen to us as believers if we also continually place our Lord Jesus Christ first in our lives. It all starts by thinking of our Lord always. As we do this, the power of the Holy Spirit will work on our hearts to establish us in the world, both within us and on the outside. Just like the psalmist, we can make the Lord Jesus our best friend-a friend who will always be at our right hand. Dear beloved, how close is Jesus Christ to you, and how close are you to Jesus Christ? Share your thoughts here. http://p...

Title : Be Diligent at Your Work

"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. Ecclesiastes 9:10" Devotion : The Bible is truth. It does not hide the truth but instead reveals it for those who are discerning to understand and choose to walk by it. The grave has no work, device, knowledge, or wisdom. Therefore, enjoy the work you find to do here and now, and be diligent at it. Most people find themselves in jobs or careers they either did not plan for or did not want. Because of this, they are not happy with their jobs or work haphazardly. Our opening scripture exhorts us to be diligent and happy at whatever job we are doing provided it is legal and by doing so, our joyful countenance will bring us blessings that we never dreamed of. Furthermore, we can only be happy here on Earth with the work we are doing because there is no work in the grave. Finally, the machines, knowledge, and wisdom we acquire mus...

Title : Win over Depression

"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Psalm 103:1" Devotion : Sometimes the enemy throws attacks at believers in Christ Jesus that then cause depression in their lives. The psalmist was faced with the same circumstances, but he decided to do something differently to overcome his depression. He spoke to his soul to bless God and everything within him to bless His holy name. After this, the depression left him, and he began to celebrate the Lord. We ought to learn from the psalmist and apply this same principle to any depressing attacks we receive from the enemy. Let us not be quiet over the Word of God; the Holy Scriptures are meant to be spoken or declared to our lives so that we can be transformed. Dear beloved, are you feeling depression in your life? What must you do to overcome it? Share your comments here. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Every Word

"Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Proverbs 30:5" Devotion : There are some people who do not believe certain portions of the Bible. Others have made doctrines of some of the scriptures in the Bible while abandoning others. The opening scripture cautions such people to be wise because every word of God is pure and relevant; each word has the ability to produce results if applied in faith. It is better to ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand the Scriptures instead of abandoning or criticizing them. Every scripture is capable of protecting, providing, and offering all the help we need. Let's trust every scripture in the Bible because they are not there by accident; the Holy Spirit has instead carefully inspired His holy men to write each part of it (2 Timothy 3:16). Value the Word, put your faith in it, and you will never regret it. Hallelujah! Share your comments here. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstud...

Title : Ready for Blessings

"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. Chronicles 16:9" Devotion : Is it not beautiful to read that God is always ready to bless His children? In fact, He is looking for whom to bless-the one whose heart is perfect toward Him. Jesus Christ reinforced this point when He said blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God (Matthew 5:8). A pure heart is the perfect heart God is looking for because He is a holy God. It is time for us to set ourselves apart unto God by using our spirits, souls, and bodies solely for God's purposes. We should also walk in wisdom and never be influenced by the dictates of the world. On the other hand, if we don't set ourselves apart unto God and instead allow our hearts to be corrupted, then we will experience an abundance of trouble and challenges...

Title : Bigger Blessing

"But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. Psalm 37:11" Devotion : Meekness is a special form of humility where one is very patient and prompt to obey irrespective of the circumstances within which he or she finds himself or herself. Moses was said to be the meekest person in his time (Numbers 12:3). Jesus Christ was also said to be meek and even humbled Himself unto death on the cross. In His life on earth, He reinforced the opening scripture and said blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). Not only will they inherit the earth but they will also enjoy an abundance of peace. These are the bigger blessings for the meek in Christ Jesus, which is why every believer should desire and pursue meekness to enjoy these bigger blessings. Dear beloved, do you want to inherit the Earth and enjoy an abundance of peace in addition to heaven? Share your comments here. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?i...

Title : Vessels unto Honor

"If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. 2 Timothy 2:21" Devotion : In a great house, there are vessels made of gold, silver, wood, and clay. Some vessels are placed in prominent places of honor, and others are placed where they can be easily reached for ordinary use. In the same way, in the house of God, there are many vessels, which represent the children of God. Some are placed in prominent and vital positions and others in ordinary positions. However, there is room for promotion, which comes to those who will work on themselves and distinguish themselves. They must set themselves apart, refrain from all ungodliness and unrighteousness, prepare themselves with the Word of God, and be ready at all times when the Lord needs them. These will be promoted from their ordinary position to a place of honor. Dear beloved, do you want to be promoted to a place of ...

Title : Be an Example

"I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. Psalm 108:3" Devotion : There are people who feel timid about letting people know that they are Christians. Some even feel ashamed to hold their Bible in public or when they are with their friends. Christians like these are doing more harm to themselves than good. The psalmist, on the other hand, was so proud of the God he was serving that he was excited to sing and praise God in the midst of the people and among the nations. Wherever he went, he publicly declared his praise for God. This is the kind of character God wants us to portray in our homes, communities, schools, workplaces, nations, etc. Jesus Christ said to let your light shine before men so that they can see your good works and give glory to the Father (Matthew 5:16). Let's stop being timid and instead stand for Christ, praising Him and singing new songs to Him irrespective of where we find ourselves so that He ...
