Title: Honouring the Poor.

He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; And that which he hath given will he pay him again. Proverbs 19:17 KJV Devotion: Imagine a world where communities rally around the hurting, and homes become havens of hope. The writer of Proverbs encourages us, "If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord—and he will repay you!" (Proverbs 19:17, NLT).  Poverty takes many forms—financial, material, spiritual, or emotional. Some are trapped in cycles of hardship, while others struggle with illness or disability. Jesus reminds us that poverty of spirit also deserves our attention (Matthew 5). As believers, we're called to do the following: - Give generously to those in need - Care for the vulnerable - Live with open hearts  Jesus emphasizes that serving others is serving Him (Matthew 25:40).
