Title: Prayer - most effective line of Communication with God.

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

Ephesians 6:18 NKJV

Devotion: Apostle Paul realised that life is a spiritual battle and it must be fought and won. That was he described the whole armour of God to overcome the spiritual forces of darkness. Paul having described the elements in the spiritual war recognised that the place of prayer, and therefore emphasized on it in verse 18 of  Ephesians chapter 6.

 On the battlefield the difference between losers and winners is communication, whenever you have an effective communication with the commander - God, you always win. We are children of God we are aware that prayer is our communication with God we must use it effectively to win the Battle of life. Most battles have been won in the spiritual before it is actually won in the physical therefore I urge you to give prayer a priority of place in your life, learn to go on your knees and tell it to God and you will become a champion.

 I am not saying that you should not work no not at all, or not be watchful or prepared but whatever you do prayer will enhance a favorable outcome.

  At home, your place of work, and mission field, it is the same when you pray for yourself; pray for our Brothers and sisters working for God especially those working in difficult places that God will empower them and give them the grace to continue to do His work. The lord of heaven will bless the labours of your hands. Pray for the saints all over the world.
