Title: Rejoice in the Lord, Never Frown!

"Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice." - Philippians 4:4

Devotion: As followers of Christ, we have been given a powerful key to overcoming life's challenges: rejoicing in the Lord. The apostle Paul discovered this secret and applied it daily, regardless of his circumstances. Despite knowing he would face suffering for the sake of Christ (Acts 9:16), Paul chose to rejoice evermore.

This key is available to every Christian, but it's up to us to use it. When we fail to rejoice, we open ourselves up to complaints, frowns, murmuring, sadness, and even spiritual death. The enemy's strategy is to steal our joy in Christ, but we must not let him succeed.

As Nehemiah 8:10 reminds us, "The joy of the Lord is your strength." When we choose to rejoice in the Lord, we tap into His strength and overcome the obstacles in our path. So, let's make a conscious decision to rejoice in the Lord always, even in the face of challenges.

As 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 encourages us, "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

Title: Wisdom from God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV [5] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths. Devotion:  If you’ve ever gone on a trip somewhere you’ve never been, you know how important it is to have a map. Maps help us navigate the unknown areas ahead. Similarly, God’s Word helps us navigate through the unknown seasons of life. It reveals God’s wisdom, which can be essential in guiding our lives.  The book of Proverbs is filled with wisdom and knowledge that helps people live according to God’s purposes for their life. It starts by acknowledging that everything begins with God.   Because God is the creator of life, He knows what direction our lives should go. Our role, according to Proverbs, is to seek Him and trust Him.
