It's Never too Late, just wait on God.

It Is Not Too Late to Wait on God!  “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.” Psalm 62:5 (KJV) The creator of time, Jehovah, is still watching to see that His Word is performed (Jeremiah 1:12). There is no such thing as “too late” with God; He is always on time. Thus it is not too late to wait on God as the year draws to an end. Remember that December 31 is just a day that ushers in a new year. It doesn’t mean that if God doesn’t fulfill your desire by the end of December, He is done with you. Make time to fellowship with believers at this time of the month to usher in the New Year. Your miracle could be tied to December 31 though, so don’t miss this opportunity. I pray for you that your expectation will be met at this time of the year to embrace the New Year with joy in Jesus’ name. May the favor of God rest on you. Go and wait on God, and be blessed. Amen! God Bless You!  I Would like to share this with you. Here You Can Download This Application fr...

Your Security is Assured.

Title : Your Security Is Assured! "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Psalm 91:11" Devotion : The kind of security you have determines the kind of protection you have. The security of the child of God is the most powerful and most potent of all securities in the world. Angels are spirit beings and servants of the Most High God. They are very powerful compared to human beings. When a person is born again, God dispatches angels to protect that person and to minister to him (Hebrews 1:14). The Christian is an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ and thus has access to this angelic ministry. You can command your angels to work for you. As a matter of fact, give them work to do by instructing them on daily basis so that they can bring you good tidings. You have all the help and protection you need, so do not fear but rather be aware of what you have and use them. Praise the Lord! Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/a...

Do not complain - develop a heart of gratitude

Title : Develop a Heart of Gratitude! "O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Psalm 25:2" Devotion : The Most High is God of all His creation. He supplies the needs of His creation and thus wants to be appreciated for the good work He is doing. He is overwhelmed with joy when we come before Him with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto Him. The more we appreciate Him with thanksgiving and joyful noise, the more He makes His blessings available to us. No appreciation is considered too small or too great, so let us appreciate and adore Him for even the little things He does for us. Dear beloved, the Lord is God, so His needs differ from ours. He needs thanksgiving and joyful noise, therefore let us give Him what He deserves so that He can bless us with good health, wealth, good marriages, good jobs, good ideas, etc. Hallelujah! KEEP JESUS CHRIST IN YOUR HEART

Title : Keep Jesus Christ In Your Heart! "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20" Devotion : Jesus Christ is the Bishop of the church (1 Peter 2:25). In other words, He is the Head of the church. He continually monitors the church and gives it all the resources it needs to do His ministry on Earth. In the opening scripture, the Laodicean church was going astray and had become neither cold nor hot. In fact, they had kept Jesus Christ out of their hearts. Our Lord Jesus Christ rebuked them and asked them to clothe their nakedness, to be zealous, and to repent. The same rebuke goes out to us today, especially those who have succeeded at kicking Jesus out of their hearts by not taking Jesus Christ and the ministry of the gospel seriously. Jesus Christ was now standing at the door of their hearts, knocking to get inside. Dear beloved, keep the fire burning so...

YOU CAN OVERCOME SIN.

Title : You Can Overcome Sin! "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:14" Devotion : There are some children of God who are struggle against sin and make all manner of funny excuses over indulgence of sin. Through their struggling, they have made it difficult for themselves to overcome sin. As a child of God, it is easy to overcome sin. Those who lived under the Old Testament could not overcome sin because they were not born again and thus were under the law. No matter how hard they tried, they found themselves breaking the law. Living under the New Testament, it is now easy to overcome sin because Jesus did the work of overcoming sin for us and gave us grace to continually win over sin. Thus, when you are born again, you have the DNA of the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ in you, so sin will not have dominion over you. Now that you are a child of God, you can know your position in Christ and that you have been calle...

Make a Personal Commitment

Title : Make A Personal Commitment! "I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. Psalm 101:2" Devotion : The psalmist made a personal commitment to the Lord. What was this personal commitment? He said he would be wise in his behavior and conduct himself in a perfect way. He also went further to say that he would work on his heart and make sure that his heart was perfect. He was doing all these so that God would find him to be a useful vessel to fellowship with. Dear beloved, make this month your month of personal commitment to the Lord. During this month and beyond, you are going to prepare your heart by ridding your heart and thoughts of all sins and wickedness. Think about the good of humanity and the welfare of your nation. When your heart and thoughts are good, your conduct will be good because what you think about is what you are compelled to do. God hates sin, and you must also hate it so...

ENJOY GOD'S PEACE

Title : Are You Enjoying Peace? "Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. 2 Thessalonians 3:16" Devotion : We serve a living God who is called the LORD of peace. As a child of God, peace was deposited into your spirit the moment you became born again. The Holy Spirit, who is the glory of the Father, lives in you and has brought the peace of God with Him. Therefore, you should be able to enjoy peace daily. Apostle Paul prayed for his church to live in peace. He knew that they already had peace in them that they could cultivate and enjoy with one another. That prayer also goes to you, dear child of God, so that you can enjoy peace and share that peace, including the peace message of the gospel, with people in your sphere of influence. While you do this, your family, your community, and the nation as a whole will live in peace. Hallelujah! BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS

Title : Be Strong and Courageous! "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6" Devotion : God wants you to put an end to all manner of fear. He also wants you to dissociate yourself from all the elements and environments that put fear in you. If your fear is coming from hearing stories of death, stop listening to stories about death and be courageous. Do an introspection about your life, and identify whatever is causing fear in you so that you can stand against it in prayer and confession, saying, "I am not afraid of you anymore, because greater is He that is me than he that is in the world. Devil, get thee behind me." As you say this boldly in faith, the devil and the fear will depart from you; you have stood against the enemy behind your fear and have defeated him. Also know that God is always with you to back up your prayer and c...

GOD IS NOT TIRED OF YOU.

Title : God Is Not Tired Of You! "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1:9" Devotion : The opening scripture gives us a picture of God asking Joshua to pull himself together again so that he can work on what God has commanded him to do. Joshua was so overwhelmed with Moses' death that he had to be encouraged on more than one occasion to take up the leadership mantle and lead the children of God to the promised land. Dear beloved, God is not tired of you neither has He given up on you. Just as He was with Joshua, He will be with you. Joshua finally took the encouragement of God, pulled himself together, and acted on God's Word. The good news is that he was able to lead the children of God to the promised land. You can also do the same as a leader or potential leader of God's people, be it in the church or as a part of society. Have an o...

Always Ready to Help You

Title : God Is Ever Ready To Listen To You! "He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. Psalm 91:15" Devotion : One of the good things that the children of God enjoy when they become born again is that God is ready at all times to listen to them. This is not so if you are an unbeliever in the world, because the unbeliever is not a child of God and does not have any kind of relationship with the Father. When the child of God prays and fellowships with the Father, God answers him; if he is going through any trial or trouble, God gives him the grace to overcome that situation. In this way, God is available at all times to attend to His children; He becomes our deliverer, honors us, gives us long life, and shows us His salvation. What a wonderful God we serve! This should entice those who are not born again to become born again. Of course, they need to be informed first, and that is why the children of God shou...

Make God your Dwelling Place

Title : Is God Your Dwelling Place? "Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; Psalm 91:9" Devotion : The New International Version translates the opening scripture as "If you say, 'The Lord is my refuge,' and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent." As a child of God, you need to be conscious of what you have and where you are. You bear the name of Jesus Christ to use to bring blessings and victories to yourself. You are in Christ Jesus, and Jesus Christ is in the Father; therefore, before the enemy can reach you, he must first go through the Father and secondly through our Lord Jesus Christ. This makes you secure in God, and He becomes a refuge and your dwelling place. Is this not wonderful? This makes you sickness free because God and Jesus Christ will protect you from diseases and all manner of evil; even if you are attacked by any illness, they ...

BE HAPPY TO SUFFER FOR CHRIST.

Title : Be Happy To Suffer For Christ! "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18" Devotion : Christianity is the best way of life on this earth. It is not a religion as some believe it to be, but it is the culture and life of God in the body of the born-again child of God; it is simply God's eternal life working through the bodies of His children. Once you become a child, it is important to understand a few things. For one, you are the righteousness of God, and God is going to count on you to live His righteousness and holiness on this earth. He is also going to use you to bless the lives of others. In the midst of these, you should also understand that you will suffer for the name of Christ Jesus, which you bear. All those who hate Jesus Christ will hate you because you are now a child of God and are not of this world. You become a target for the enemy and his cohorts of ...

Follow Due Process and Be Totally Saved

Title : Salvation Is A Process! "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10" Devotion : Salvation is defined as the act of saving someone from sin or evil or the state of being saved from sin or evil. It is also defined as something that saves someone or something from danger or a difficult situation. The person who saved us from our sins is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Even though Jesus Christ died for all mankind, it is not everyone who has accepted Him for this work He has done. Hence salvation can only be effectual personally by first of all believing in your heart that Jesus Christ truly died for your sins and that God raised Him from the dead. Secondly, you must confess Him with your mouth as Lord over your life. If you take these two very important steps of faith, then you will be saved. It does not end here however; you must continually work out your salvation by being a follower and imitator of...

YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD!

Title : You Are A Child Of God! "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26" Devotion : Apostle Paul was educating the Galatian church on the law and faith. He made them aware that because they have believed in Jesus Christ, they have thus become the children of God by faith and not according to the law. Dear beloved, when you believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and confessed Him with your mouth as Lord over your life, you became a born-again child of God. Don't worry about what the law of the Old Testament says or how you feel; it is a step of faith you have taken. After becoming a child of God, what must you do? You must find His will and purpose for your life and live in obedience to God to fulfill His will and purpose. Jesus Christ becomes your role model to look up to when fulfilling this purpose. When you continue in the teaching of Christ Jesus, then your life will be pleasing to God, and He will bless you and make you a blessing to m...

ARE TIRED OF DOING GOOD

Title : Are You Tired of Doing Good "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9" Devotion : It pays to do good. We have been called into the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ to be fruitful in every good work (Colossians 1:10). The opening scripture reveals a secret about showing kindness to others; it says when begin to feel weary or tired of doing good, we should be alert because that is the very point when our harvest or reward is due. If we press on just a little more, our harvest will be waiting for us to reap it. Therefore, my fellow brethren, the sign for the reward or harvest is the point at which you feel like giving up; it is the enemy's trick to attempt to get you to react negatively to your feelings and lose the reward. Let kindness or doing good be your lifestyle just like it was for Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Acts 10:38). Share your comments here. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudyb...

DON'T TAKE GOD FOR GRANTED

Title : Dont Take God for Granted "But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Mark 3:29" Devotion : Jesus made the profound statement in the opening scripture. He said anyone who speaks abominable words against the Father and the Son will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks abominable words against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven but punished instead. It is our responsibility to please the Holy Spirit because He has come to dwell in us and with us forever; He is here to help us, but He needs our cooperation. Let's not take Him for granted or speak irreverently against Him. He might not spare us. Dear beloved, are you taking the Holy Spirit for granted? Sing, jump for joy there's HOPE for you

Title : There Is Hope for You "Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. Isaiah 54:1" Devotion : The Lord God Almighty is a wonder, and His wisdom is unsearchable. He has given the barren in His kingdom the utmost opportunity to be fruitful. He said the barren need not cry, complain, or become bitter and discouraged. It is time for them to sing unto the Lord Jesus Christ; it is time for them to sing spontaneously and cry aloud in prayer. He said that their children are many and full of wonders, and that is why they are going through that period of barrenness. It is just a period of testing; it will pass away. This principle was applied by Rebekah, Hannah, and Elizabeth, and they gave birth to mighty men of valor. Dear beloved, if it seems you are barren, don't be worried; instead, continually sing...

YOU NEED THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Title : You Need the Power of the Holy Spirit "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Luke 1:35" Devotion : The Holy Spirit is needed to ensure your success in whatever good endeavor you are engaged in. The fact that you are good or that the endeavor you are engage in is good does not guarantee a fruitful result. You need the power of the Holy Spirit to bring it to a perfect end. There were many virgins in Nazareth of Judea, but it took the Holy Spirit to have favor with Mary to endue her with power to conceive and give birth to Jesus Christ. There is nothing impossible for the Holy Spirit, but you must be born again to receive the power of the Holy Spirit. After you are born again, He comes to live in you. Then you can ask Him to empower you through desire, fasting, persistent prayer, and waitin...

Defeat Anxiety

Title : You Can Defeat Anxiety "Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad. Proverbs 12:25" Devotion : One of the weapons of the enemy against the saints is anxiety or worry. He uses it to demoralize Christians or create doubt in their hearts, but the Almighty God has given the saints the weapons they need to overcome anxiety. The first weapon is the good word: You need to hear a good word to defeat anxiety. The good word is found in the Holy Scriptures; therefore, find a scripture that is related to that worry, declare it to yourself, and the anxiety will disappear. The second weapon is to give thanks and praise to God for what He has done for you; as you sing and thank Him, the burden of worry will be lifted from you. The last weapon is to pray, especially in other tongues, and the Holy Ghost will crush the anxiety. Hallelujah! You want great things from God? Dial Jeremiah 33:3

Title : How to Receive Great Things from God "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3" Devotion : The opening scripture demonstrates to the children of God that they can receive great and mighty things from God. The key is to call to God in faith by using His Word. He is always ready to hear us, and He never gets bored of our prayers. He wants to show us great and mighty things that we don't know. The Bible tells us that there are heights in the spirit realm that God wants us to attain. He wants us to reach the height where we can see from where He sees and can comprehend Him a height of no limits, where all things are possible. Let us give importance to fellowship with our heavenly Father and commune with Him on a frequent basis so that we can see great and mighty things. Dear beloved, which realm are you in? GOD RESEVERS THE BEST FOR YOU.

Title : God Reserves the Best for His Leaders "The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. Timothy 2:6" Devotion : God is love, and He knows those who are working tirelessly for Him. As a leader Himself, He knows what His leaders are going through daily as they dutifully accomplish everything set before them. They are the ones who are severely attacked by the enemy and his cohorts of darkness. They also bear the pressure of their members. Because of this, God Has made provision for them to be the first to partake of the fruits of their labor. This is the reward Jesus Christ has put in place to motivate His leaders. Therefore, don't be envious or criticize when you see the leaders of the church in wearing a nice suit, driving a fancy car, living in a fine house, or having a beautiful family. They deserve the best as they keep working for the master. Dear beloved, do you want the very best from God? What must you do? Share your thoughts here. http://...

WHY YOU MUST PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD

Title : Why Must You Put Your Trust in God "They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. Psalm 125:1" Devotion : Some people put their confidence in idols and others in personality, knowledge, money, etc. All of these will pass away; they don't have the power to save the human soul. On the other hand, those who trust God and put their trust in the Holy Scriptures shall be like Mount Zion, which cannot be removed but abides forever. Mount Zion is the dwelling place of God, so those who trust God and our Lord Jesus Christ will be in the presence of God, which lasts forever. If you have put your trust in the Holy Scriptures and it seems things are not going in your favor, the opening scripture should encourage you to move on because God is with you and you will never be shaken or removed. Hallelujah! Dear beloved, what did you learn from this gospel? Share your comments here. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=k...

DO YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS BIRTH

Title : Do You Believe in Jesus birth "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21" Devotion : The true story about Jesus Christ of Nazareth is one of a kind, and it cannot be put under a rug but rather ought to be celebrated forever. Never before or after has a virgin become pregnant, but it happened to Mary. Joseph, her betrothed husband, could not comprehend it and had wanted to divorce her privately. However, the angel convinced him in a dream not to be afraid or worried, and he accepted her as his betroth wife. Jesus Christ was born, and He accomplished God's purpose by saving mankind from their sins. This is a very good example of how God wants to work with His children to accomplish His will on Earth. Joseph and Mary availed themselves to God and must be very happy now in heaven to have been given such an honor. He is the only one born by a virgin, whose name is so powerful to save ...

THE TRIUNE MAN

Title : The Triune Man "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thessalonians 5:23" Devotion : The opening scripture is a confirmation that mankind is a triune being. He is a spirit made up of the soul and the body, so man consists of spirit, soul, and body. Sometimes the Holy Scriptures interchange the spirit and the soul because both form the inward man. The body and its senses form the outward man. The spirit of man is the image of God; the soul consists of the mind, will, and emotions; and the body consists of the cells, tissues, organs, organ systems, and five senses. The Most High wants the spirit, soul, and body to be balanced, and it is the Christian's duty to ensure that his spirit, soul, and body are balanced, sanctified, and preserved blameless unto the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The nourishment of the spirit and soul is the Holy Scri...

NO MORE CURSE

Title : No More Curse "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Galatians 3:13" Devotion : One of the blessings that born-again Christians receive from Elohim is a curse-free life. The curse that the opening scripture is talking about is the worst curse in the world. No other curses can compare to it. There is no curse that can work against any Christian because this curse, the worst curse that forms the basis of all other curses, has been destroyed by Christ Jesus. Any Christian who thinks he is being tormented by generational curses should use this scripture to beat the enemy, and he will be free both psychologically and physically; the enemy will always throw lies at you hoping to deceive you into believing that you are suffering from family curses or generational curses. Challenges may come to the believer in Christ Jesus, but it is not as a result of curses. Instead, it is...

CORRUPT COMMUNICATION

Title : Corrupt Communication "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Ephesians 4:29" Devotion : Any word that comes out of your mouth that is not the Word of God and does not promote the work of God is corrupt communication. It is the kind that does not inspire but rather seeks to promote all manner of evil. A good communication is any word that proceeds out of your mouth to bless lives and to give people hope to keep loving God and other people. As a child of God, use your mouth wisely to bless lives and impart grace to people. Let people come to you for peace and comfort, and let them leave with hope and confidence in Christ Jesus. Finally, know that your mouth was given to you by God to chart a good course for your life and so that you can be a living example in word and deed. Dear beloved, what was your mouth created to do? Share your thoughts here. http://play.go...

EXPERIENCING TOTAL PROSPERITY.

Title : Experiencing Total Prosperity "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Psalm 1:1" Devotion : For believers in Christ Jesus to experience total prosperity, there are three things they must not do and two things they must do. According to the opening scripture, the three things you must not do are not take advice or counsel from the ungodly, not use the sinners' formula to run your life, and not associate with those who are not serious about life. On the other hand, the two things that you must do are delight in or enjoy the Word of God and meditate or create mental pictures with the Holy Scriptures. If you are able to live by these five principles, you will live in total prosperity. Dear beloved, do you want to experience total prosperity? Do you know what you must do? LOVE IS GIVING

Title : Love Is Giving "Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 1 Corinthians 13:4" Devotion : Love is a decision and choice that we must make to also enjoy it in time of need. In the world today, love has been misrepresented by various kinds of lust. True love is patient, is kind, promotes others, is not boastful, and is not proud. Anything parading itself as love that lacks any of the above qualities is not love. If we claim we love the brethren and our actions lack the qualities of love, we are hypocrites. Also, when we show love to the brethren, we should not expect them to pay us back but rather expect the reward from our Lord Jesus Christ. Finally, we should come to the point where we show love to others because it is good to love and not because we will be rewarded in the end. Dear beloved, do your actions meet the requirements of love? Share your comments here. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?i...

God's plan for Us

Title : Gods Plan for Us "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11" Devotion : Our heavenly Father has a very good plan for us, and this is demonstrated by His thoughts toward us. He is a God who knows what He is about; in fact, He is the master planner. Whatever we are going through as believers in Christ Jesus is part of the master plan of our Father. The expected end in our opening scripture is called the master plan, and the expected end is for us to enjoy continual peace and prosperity. If God's thoughts concerning us are peace and not evil, then what are our thoughts toward God and our brethren? Our thoughts toward our heavenly Father should be that of peace and not complaining and murmuring. Our plans for God should also be to always please Him. Our thoughts toward our brethren should promote peace and love so that the work of God and our Lord Jesus Christ is don...

Know your God

Title : Know Your God "But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. Job 2:10" Devotion : There are people who quickly turn their backs on God when things do not go the way they expected. The Israelites were also fond of doing that when they were in the wilderness. They complained and murmured when they encountered any challenges or difficulties, and they were quick to praise their time in Egypt even though they were subjected to forced labor there. Job's wife represents the children of God who think the Christian race must always be rosy even though this is not the case. Job was a man of understanding though; he rebuked his wife and educated her that sometimes God allows trials for His children to test and promote them. He did not sin against God, and in the end, he was given double of all that he had lost (Job 42:12). Chri...

The Witness of The Holy Spirit

Title : The Witness of the Holy Spirit "And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3:17" Devotion : While Jesus Christ walked this earth, He was baptized by John the Baptist. After the baptism, He obtained a witness from the Holy Spirit, and John the Baptist also heard this voice of witness. In the same way, we also need this witness from the Holy Spirit that we are the children of God. If you are a Christian and you don't have this personal witness from the Holy Spirit, then you need to find out what is wrong (Romans 8:16). You are either just professing that you are a Christian but deep inside you are not or you are a babe in Christ. Every true Christian should be sure of his or her salvation through the witness of the Holy Spirit; otherwise, he or she will be living in vain. Dear beloved, do you have a witness from the Holy Spirit that you are His? Share your testimonies here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details...

Separated Unto God

Title : Separated unto God "And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. Leviticus 20:26" Devotion : In the Old Testament, the Israelites were separated unto God; the Almighty God made the Israelites His children and considered the other nations to be Gentiles. The Israelites were considered holy and the Gentiles unholy or unclean. In the New Testament, Christians are called the children of God, that is, those who have made Jesus Christ their Savior and Lord. These Christians are separated unto God as a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a special people (1 Peter 2:9). Our Father wants us to be conscious of who we are in Him and to live a holy life for Him so that He can boast of us. We don't have to intermingle with the world; if we love with the world, the love of the Father is not in us (1 John 2:15). We have been called out of the world to shine as the lights to the world, so let us be proud to...

THE POWER OF MIND

Title : The Power of the Mind "I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psalm 16:8" Devotion : The Lord is God, and by His very nature, He wants first place in our lives. Whatever continually occupies your mind is your "god." The psalmist placed the Lord first in his life, and his mind was always occupied with God. As a result, the Lord was also close to him and established him. The psalmist became unmovable and unshakable. The same thing will happen to us as believers if we also continually place our Lord Jesus Christ first in our lives. It all starts by thinking of our Lord always. As we do this, the power of the Holy Spirit will work on our hearts to establish us in the world, both within us and on the outside. Just like the psalmist, we can make the Lord Jesus our best friend-a friend who will always be at our right hand. Dear beloved, how close is Jesus Christ to you, and how close are you to Jesus Christ? Shar...

Be Diligent at Your Work

Title : Be Diligent at Your Work "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. Ecclesiastes 9:10" Devotion : The Bible is truth. It does not hide the truth but instead reveals it for those who are discerning to understand and choose to walk by it. The grave has no work, device, knowledge, or wisdom. Therefore, enjoy the work you find to do here and now, and be diligent at it. Most people find themselves in jobs or careers they either did not plan for or did not want. Because of this, they are not happy with their jobs or work haphazardly. Our opening scripture exhorts us to be diligent and happy at whatever job we are doing provided it is legal and by doing so, our joyful countenance will bring us blessings that we never dreamed of. Furthermore, we can only be happy here on Earth with the work we are doing because there is no work in the grave. Finally, the machines, kno...

Win over depression

Title : Win over Depression "Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Psalm 103:1" Devotion : Sometimes the enemy throws attacks at believers in Christ Jesus that then cause depression in their lives. The psalmist was faced with the same circumstances, but he decided to do something differently to overcome his depression. He spoke to his soul to bless God and everything within him to bless His holy name. After this, the depression left him, and he began to celebrate the Lord. We ought to learn from the psalmist and apply this same principle to any depressing attacks we receive from the enemy. Let us not be quiet over the Word of God; the Holy Scriptures are meant to be spoken or declared to our lives so that we can be transformed. Dear beloved, are you feeling depression in your life? Every word of God is very important

Title : Every Word "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Proverbs 30:5" Devotion : There are some people who do not believe certain portions of the Bible. Others have made doctrines of some of the scriptures in the Bible while abandoning others. The opening scripture cautions such people to be wise because every word of God is pure and relevant; each word has the ability to produce results if applied in faith. It is better to ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand the Scriptures instead of abandoning or criticizing them. Every scripture is capable of protecting, providing, and offering all the help we need. Let's trust every scripture in the Bible because they are not there by accident; the Holy Spirit has instead carefully inspired His holy men to write each part of it (2 Timothy 3:16). Value the Word, put your faith in it, and you will never regret it. Hallelujah! Share your comments here. http://play.google.com/store/apps...

Are you ready for blessing?

Title : Ready for Blessings "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. Chronicles 16:9" Devotion : Is it not beautiful to read that God is always ready to bless His children? In fact, He is looking for whom to bless-the one whose heart is perfect toward Him. Jesus Christ reinforced this point when He said blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God (Matthew 5:8). A pure heart is the perfect heart God is looking for because He is a holy God. It is time for us to set ourselves apart unto God by using our spirits, souls, and bodies solely for God's purposes. We should also walk in wisdom and never be influenced by the dictates of the world. On the other hand, if we don't set ourselves apart unto God and instead allow our hearts to be corrupted, then we will experience an abundan...
Title : No Discrimination "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:15" Devotion : God Almighty does not discriminate when it comes to the subject of salvation. The invitation for salvation has been sent to all mankind for God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34). If you will only believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God and receive Him as your Lord and personal Savior, you will be saved and given eternal life as a free gift for your faith. He is ready to give it to whoever believes, so the question is, do you believe? If you do, then you shall receive His precious gift of eternal life. Don't ever demean yourself; He is not only the God of the Israelites but He is the God of all nations, tribes, races, genders, and tongues. Just come to Him with a sincere heart and receive your salvation. Without salvation, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Dear beloved, what did you learn from this gospel? Share your comments her...
Title : What Are You Using Your Mouth For "My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. Psalms 145:21" Devotion : Beloved, what we use our mouths for is what we will become in the future. Some use their mouth to eat haphazardly; they are not selective in what they eat. This has a tendency of destroying your body, which is the temple of God. Others use their mouths to talk ungodliness/gossip; there is good gossip and bad gossip. Good gossip goes to further the work of Christ Jesus whilst on the other hand bad gossip runs down the work of the ministry of Christ. Which of these two are you using your mouth for? I hope you are using it for good gossip so that you can be blessed. Your mouth was created by the LORD to praise and worship Him, Hebrews 13:15-16. Also, your mouth was given to you by GOD to chart a good course for your life, Proverbs 12:14. Learn to use your mouth aright and God will bless you; people will also ad...
Title : You Can Inherit the Earth "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5" Devotion : My fellow readers and brethren, Jesus Christ is definitely right. The earth can be inherited; Heaven is not the only inheritance of the Saints. The earth also is an asset of God which can be inherited by faith and by the conduct of meekness. To be meek is to be extremely humble and being totally devoted and obedient to our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ without any shadow of doubt. Moses was meek amongst the people of his time yet missed the promised land out of anger/disobedience. Instead of speaking to the rock, he was angry with the Israelite and hit the rock twice, Numbers 20:8-12. Even though water came out of the rock, God was angry with Moses because the rock that followed them was Christ and Christ must die once, 1 Corinthians 10:4. So Moses missed the promised land though God favored him by showing him the promised land from far off before he died. We ...
Title : You Cant Be Ashamed "Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. Isaiah 54:4" Devotion : Yes, you can't be ashamed because Jesus Christ took all your shame and nailed it to the cross of Calvary, Colossians 2:14-15. Praise the Lord! When Apostle Paul came into contact with Jesus Christ he truly declared that he was not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation, to the Jews first and secondly to the Gentiles, Romans 1:16. Anybody who feels ashamed of Jesus Christ is living in ignorance and after reading this gospel should repent and be bold with the inheritance he/she has received. Truly indeed, Jesus Christ is our inheritance; we move, live and have our being in Him. Those who are not born again and feel ashamed/shy to receive Him as Lord and Savior should repent and...

Stop worrying

Title : In Everything Including Christmas "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6" Devotion : When the Holy Scripture said "in everything", it left nothing out; therefore, "in everything", including Christmas, we must be anxious for nothing. Do you know why? It is because you serve a living GOD who cares so much about you and is always expecting you to talk to Him about everything, even what you think is not so important. You can reach Him by His laid-down procedure: prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving. If you put prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving to work in every request you make, consider it done so there will be no need to be anxious. Anxiety is very dangerous and can even kill; consider many people who have lost their lives through road accidents because of worry/anxiety. Make sure you celebrate this Christmas with somebody and do so with ...

Who is your true leader?

Title : God is a True Leader "From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalms 61:2" Devotion : The Psalmist had a limited knowledge in his worship of God: he only cried unto God when he was in trouble. In the New Testament, the children of God have limitless knowledge in their worship of God: meaning that they don't have to wait until they are in trouble before crying unto God. In the New Testament, worship/prayer is a lifestyle, Hebrews 13:15-16. What the Psalmist should be commended for is that he cried unto the true God, the true Leader of all. Believers in Christ Jesus should know their God and Jesus Christ, who is the true rock higher than all. Hallelujah. Those who know the true LORD will be strong and carry out exploits. Praise the LORD! Dearly beloved, who is your leader? Does he have the qualities of GOD? Share your comments here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudyb...

What are creating?

Title : What Are You Creating "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1" Devotion : In life, what we create is very vital to God as well as to our own selves because others could benefit or could be destroyed by it. When God created the heaven and the earth, He benefited from it because heaven is His throne and the earth His footstool, Matthew 5:34-35; others also benefited from it. In other words, His created beings enjoyed what God had created. The life of a believer in Christ Jesus begins at his new birth, that is, the very moment he/she accepted Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and personal Savior. Thereafter what he/she does is very essential because he/she could be charting a cause for a victorious life or a mediocre life. Heaven represents the spiritual and the earth represents the physical; therefore, a Christian should place a premium on his spiritual life as much as his physical life. The spiritual comes first, followed by the physical, and God...
Title : Do You Feel For the Lost "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4" Devotion : As a child of God, sometimes take time to ask yourself the following questions: how did I become a born again Christian? Where would I have been if I were not born again? What is my Christian life like without winning a soul? If these questions are honestly answered, you will have compassion for any lost soul you come across in your day-to-day endeavor. The Christians who mourn/prayerfully fight for lost souls will be blessed and comforted with good tidings and benefits. Everybody became born again because someone preached to him or her; even if you were reading the gospel/Bible and you became born again, you were convinced by the Holy Spirit. Everybody needs somebody; therefore, if you see a drunkard, prostitute, thief, gay person, etc, mourn for them in prayer and extend the good news to them so that the LORD can reward your effort. Remember to show them the l...
