Title : GOD LOVES OBEDIENCE

"By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Romans 1:5" Devotion : Apostle Paul was saying that Jesus Christ was responsible for giving grace and the office of ministry. This calling must be obeyed to give honor and allegiance to the one who called, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This is not the time, as a Christian, to compare your gift and office of ministry to that of another brother in the faith. Jesus Christ knows all and gives according to His divine wisdom. What we need to do, as children of God who have been called to these offices, is to explore more about our own calling and ask for more grace to accomplish the task that goes with the calling. What Christ Jesus is looking for is faithfulness; therefore, let us stop the comparisons, love one another's offices and gifts, and focus on what we have been called to do, Matthew 25:21-23. We should refrain from abandoning the gift and the office for any reason,...

Title : GOD HATES BETRAYAL

"And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. Matthew 26:23" Devotion : First and foremost amongst the things that God hates is betrayal. In the case of the disciples of Jesus Christ, it was written that one of them would betray Jesus Christ. Whoever amongst the disciples opened the door of his heart for this betrayal was used by the enemy to execute the written Word, because GOD cannot lie; He is the truth and scripture must be fulfilled. Judas Iscariot, in this case, opened the door and was used. Therefore, in every Christian organization whoever takes GOD's Word for granted and dines with the enemy will fall prey to him. We, as children of God, must make personal judgment on ourselves on a moment by moment basis so that we don't allow room for betrayal in the kingdom of God to which the LORD has called us. Praise the LORD! Dearly beloved, are you betraying Jesus Christ in your daily endeavors? Share your thoughts...

Title : Declare April Your Month of Blessings

"Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul. Psalms 103:22" Devotion : The Psalmist was asking all the works of GOD to bless the LORD. Finally, he submitted to his command by asking his soul to also bless the LORD. He acknowledged that he was the handiwork of God. If the works of creation are blessing God, what are you as a child of God doing? You must cultivate a lifestyle of blessing the LORD in praise, worship, offerings, tithes, and thanksgiving. This is not the time to wait for GOD to do something for you before you thank and praise Him. As long as you have breath, you have every reason to thank, praise, and worship Him. Don't make excuses for going to church; it is a place for corporate worship. Therefore, don't miss out on the corporate blessings for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is right there to bless them, Matthew 18:20. Hallelujah! Dearly beloved, have you cultivated the lifestyle of blessing the...

Title : All Evil Work Against You Will Be Destroyed

"And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Timothy 4:18" Devotion : The opening scripture is good declaration as well as a prayer which can only be made by a determined Christian in the work of the ministry. Apostle Paul was a man of faith who exhibited all the gifts of the Spirit. In life, we must come to the conclusion that there is evil work being perpetrated by the enemy and there are good works being done by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through us. Evil will surely bow before good; that is how the LORD made it: it is a spiritual law that cannot be broken, Romans 12:21. Therefore, as a child of God, always position yourself to do good works and pray that you are delivered from evil machinations from the enemy called Satan. The kingdom of God needs you alive to impact the world with the glory of God. Hallelujah! Share your comments here! http://play.google.com/store/apps...

Title : What Are You Learning From GOD

"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Micah 6:8" Devotion : GOD is a renowned teacher, greater than all the teachers in heaven and earth. He is still in the teaching business and seeks to teach you, dear reader. What He teaches you He expects you to imbibe and teach others. The opening scripture demonstrates the fact that the LORD is a teacher. He shows man what is good and requires/expects you to do likewise: to be just/fair, love mercy and show mercy to others, and walk humbly before Him. Jesus Christ demonstrated all these virtues when He walked on earth: He was fair to others, He showed compassion, and He was humble/obedient even unto death on the cross. Dearly beloved, what is GOD showing you in the Holy Scriptures? Are you living them? Share your thoughts here! Hallelujah! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibl...

Title : God is Male and Female

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27" Devotion : GOD is the Father of all creation: He is the Elohim, the creator of all things. He has no beginning and has no end; this is His nature and this nature cannot change. He gave birth to all creation, including mankind. He created man male and female, because He as the creator is Male and Female. God is Spirit; therefore, mankind is spirit, having a soul and living in a human body. All we need to know is that where there is an image there is an object; hence, mankind is the image of the Object, which is GOD. What we as children of God need to know is that God is Spirit, John 4:24. And He is Male and Female: the GOD HEAD is Male and that is why the husband is the head of the wife. Let us also respect females in society and give them their due place in every endeavor. Hallelujah! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibl...

Title : Youve Been Called to Bless

"Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. Psalms 103:21" Devotion : The opening scripture has thrown light on two personalities who are dear to the Most High: Angels, and some men and women of God. When it comes to some men and women of God, put your name there if you are a true worshipper. The elect angels, without any shadow of doubt, praise and worship God eternally. On the contrary, only some children of God praise and worship God; some live in disobedience and others live in the midst of complaining and showing ingratitude. The born again Christians who do the will/pleasure of the LORD are surely praising/worshipping God with their God-given duties/responsibilities; these are the ones the LORD is looking for. Those who praise/worship God with their lips/mouth but are not doing His will/pleasure are "hypocrites" and need to do better than lip service. Dearly beloved, are you are a doer of GOD's will/pleasure or you are ...

Title : Stop Complaining and Look For The Sure Way

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13" Devotion : As a child of God, complaining over any given issue/challenge does not solve it but rather makes it worse. The opening scripture is vivid to the fact that every child of God is prone to temptation. If Jesus Christ went through it, we will also go through it. Hallelujah! Instead of complaining and feeling affrighted, look for the way of escape which God has provided in the midst of the temptation so that you will be able to overcome it as Jesus did, Matthew 4:1-11. We have been given the assurance that the temptation is within our scope of abilities to overcome; therefore, if you fall as a Christian in the midst of temptation, quickly get up and look for the way of escape in the Holy Scriptures and overcome the t...

Title : Dare to be Different

"Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. John 20:27" Devotion : The Bible has everything within it to make us a success in life. God has written the life story of His children and other personalities for our learning, so that we might not repeat the mistakes of our patriarchs/predecessors. The experiences of our patriarchs put us ahead in life: Apostle Thomas is an example of the patriarchs in the New Testament. He believed in the physical senses more than the spiritual senses before Jesus Christ met him after His resurrection. After meeting Jesus Christ, his sphere of belief was turned around for good. Let us learn from the mistake of Apostle Thomas and put to work our spiritual senses: our spiritual senses rest on the heart and the mind. The heart and the mind are spiritual senses used to dominate the physical senses of sight, taste, smell, hearing, and...

Title : There is No Fear in Love

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. John 4:18" Devotion : The opening scripture has given us a standard of rule to measure true love. This must be taken seriously in order to identify true love on the one hand and false love on the other. True love/perfect love cast out fear, doubt, and anxiety. Therefore, any time you want to demonstrate love and you feel fear, doubt, and anxiety, please don't exercise love because your heart is telling you that there is something fishy about the subject of your love, that is, the one to whom you want to demonstrate/show love. The subject/person may either be taking advantage of you or looking for your destruction. The enemy also reads the Bible and seeks to rob us of our blessing by using his children against us. On the other hand, if you are about to show love to someone and you have no fear, doubt, and anxiety, go ahead and demonstrate it...

Title : You Can Do Better Than The Angels

"Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Psalms 103:20" Devotion : Our opening Scripture is a command to the elect angels of the LORD of Hosts. God's angels that excel in strength, do His commandments, and hearken unto the voice of the LORD, are commanded to bless the LORD. This is awesome, because God only accepts praise and worship from godly creation. He doesn't accept praise and worship from devils and demons. Jesus rejected praise from demons, Mark 5:7-8. Apostle Paul did not accept praise from demons, Acts 16:16-18. Mankind, who are created in the image of God, can offer blessings, praise/worship, and hear the voice of the LORD better than the angels simply because they are God's image. The born again Christian has a greater responsibility here to offer holy blessings, praise/worship, and hear the voice of God better than all of God's creation. We need to praise/worship Him m...
Title : Consistently Trust God With Your Mind "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3" Devotion : Our dear Lord Jesus said to His disciples, "Have faith in God", Mark 11:22. He was telling them to consistently trust God with their mind. When you control your mind with trust in His Word, you will enjoy perfect peace. In the opening scripture, we see that we will surely enjoy the fruit of our mind when our mind is continually focused on the things of God. To enjoy the good products of the mind you need to consistently train your mind with the Holy Scriptures and fully hold unto the Word of God until you have received the blessings therein. Dearly beloved, your mind is a powerful asset Jesus Christ has given you. Don't use it on worthless things, because it can destroy you. On the contrary, use it on godly things so that you can be blessed all the days of your life. Praise the Lord! Share your tho...

Title: what does God mean to you Personally?

Title : What Does GOD Mean to You Personally "But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. Psalms 3:3" Devotion : As a child of God, you need to know your God in a personal way which is unique to you only. This should be founded on the Holy Scriptures through personal experience so that you can be confident and unshakable in this world. The Psalmist in our opening scripture knew God in a personal way. He knew God as his shield, glory, and lifter-up: as a shield to protect him, as glory to decorate and beautify him, and as lifter-up to elevate and promote him to a higher rank/standing in life. Dear believer, how do you know your God? Can you, like the Psalmist, use just three words to personally describe Him? Share your comments and thoughts here! Hallelujah! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : The Good Path that God Wants For You

"And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.  Isaiah 35:8" Devotion : The almighty God wants us to think like Him. He is a Holy God and calls His way a highway: this is the sure way of prosperity, health, and sound mind that God wants for us. Holiness is equated to the highway of God: it has to do with abstaining from anything which is ungodly. The sure way to live a holy life is to do the things that Jesus Christ did whilst on earth; He was the express image of His very person. It pays to live a holy life; it is the sure way to see/experience God, Matthew 5:8. Don't be a fool because fools will always err and miss the kingdom of heaven. Be wise to enjoy God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord! Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleof...

Title : Believe is A Continuous Process

"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matthew 21:22" Devotion : Christianity is not a religion: it is a life of God working in the body of a Saint/Believer in Christ Jesus. Religion preys on falsehood but Christianity lives the truth. Jesus Christ is a man of truth who did not deceive but gave us the true light of God's Word to prosper therewith. He says "belief" is a continuous process; in other words, we don't stop believing. He went on to say that in prayer we ask a number of things but until we receive the things we have prayed for, we should not stop believing. Hallelujah! This is a secret Jesus Christ is sharing with His Saints/Christians. How do you know that what you have asked for in prayer is just at the door to manifestation? That is why you have to continue to believe until you have received it so that you can share your testimony. Jesus Christ does not want us to time Him or our Father because they are ...

Title : You Are Very Privileged

"The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. Psalms 103:19" Devotion : You are very privileged as a child of God. Do you know why? It is true because, according to the opening scripture, the LORD has prepared His throne in heaven and lives in heaven. However, in the New Testament the LORD sent Jesus Christ to prepare a people for the LORD to enthrone Himself. These people are called born again Christians/Saints. If you are a born again Christian/Saint, is it not a privilege to carry God on the inside of you? Of course it is! This God you carry on the inside of you is called the Comforter/Holy Spirit, John 14:26. Therefore, we are not orphans; we have a Father, a friend, and a brother to depend on. He has made us kings and priests to rule over all the kingdoms of the world, Revelation 1:6. Hallelujah! What you must do is to know more about the Holy Spirit and know how to relate with Him so that you can always benefit from Him, and Him fro...

Title : Is it Easy to Trust Someone

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1" Devotion : The disciples of Jesus Christ knew of the existence of God before they met Jesus Christ. Apparently, they were expecting the Savior to come even though some doubted the manner in which He came. Jesus Christ knowing, the background of His disciples, had to encourage them to believe in Him as much as they believed in God. As a Christian leader, you need to make your disciples/followers believe in you as much as they believe in God because Our Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ use people, especially His children, to accomplish His purposes/will on earth. If your disciples do not believe in you or trust you, you are likely to lose them to another leader who may not even be called of God to lead His children. The heart begins to be troubled when it has no faith/belief in God's leaders. That is why, as a God-chosen leader, you need to follow Christ Jesus as the children of God follow yo...

Title : God is Looking For You

"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. 2 Chronicles 16:9" Devotion : God is always looking for a man to empower and bless. Are you that man/woman He is looking for? It is easy to say, Yes, I am the one. The opening scripture gives you a clue as to whether your answer is correct or wrong. It says God is moving from one person to the next searching for a heart that is loyal/perfect. If you are faithful/loyal in all your endeavors, then you are the one God is looking for and He will find you, empower you, bless you, and show you His secrets. Born again Christians are in the hands of the Holy Spirit but the Father lives in heaven and visits His children from time to time. When He visits you, will He find you still loyal in the things you are required to do?? The choice is always yours, to c...

Title : Do You Know Who Are On the Inside

"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. John 4:4" Devotion : Apostle John by the revelation of God has given the saints a valuable insight into who they are on the inside. You are a spirit living in a body; therefore, when you become born again, the Holy Spirit recreates your spirit to conform to the nature of God so that He can live in your spirit. You become a child of God and hence G, John 10:34. You carry God inside you in the person of the Holy Spirit; therefore, you are greater on the inside than anything in the world. You are big on the inside, so give cooperation to the Holy Spirit to teach you how to beat the world and those in the world. You cannot fail because the Holy Spirit on the inside of you is above all and cannot fail. Keep saying to yourself, "I am big on the inside for greater is He who lives in me than anything in the world"; as you say this, boldness will well ...

Title : You Have Been Qualified to Succeed

"That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Colossians 1:10" Devotion : The word "meet" in the last verse of the opening scripture is rendered as "qualified" in the New King James Version of the Bible. In other words, God has qualified us to succeed and to take up positions that we do not qualify for by worldly standards. It is better to receive divine qualification than obtain earthly qualifications. There are testimonies where people with degrees are jobless but others without degrees are working in meaningful jobs; people who are more beautiful are denied marriage but those who are not beautiful are married to good husbands. Due to the working of the glorious power in us, we are expected to walk worthy of the Lord through the fruit we bear for Him. He wants to see us succeed on the outside by our good works for Him; and succeed on the inside by bearing the fruit of ...

Title : According to the measure of your Faith

Matthew 8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. Devotion : Jesus Christ made a profound statement when the centurion came to Him for help. Apparently, he needed healing for his servant. Jesus Christ said, "as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee". In other words, if you come to God with a need, you must believe that He will do it and what you receive will be commensurate your faith. In other words, you will receive little things if your faith is little, and you will receive great things if your faith is great. Some people want great things but their belief or faith is too little to receive them. What they need to do is to grow their faith; they should practice the belief or faith in getting the little things, then move from that level to strong/great faith to receive great things from God. For example, it is better to believe God for a better job than to bel...

Title : Do You Believe in Christian Networking

"And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Hebrews 10:24" Devotion : The world is becoming a complex place; there is a high unemployment rate in many countries, especially in Africa. Therefore, there are many people, even countries, coming together to form unions or groups to help one another. The opening scripture supports this idea and even encourages Christians to come together to do good works. Imagine Christians creating companies to employ one another - the world would have been a better place, even to stand against the economic forces of the world. In other to achieve this, Christians should consider one another; in other words, give people the chance or the benefit of the doubt to prove themselves, whether they can be trusted or competent for good work. Thus, you should not feel guilty for reprimanding or firing a Christian who is dishonest, lazy, or criminal. Dearly beloved, how do you feel about Christian Networking? Share your thoughts...

Titile: “Guilt and Forgiveness”

Author Joyce Meyer. SCRIPTURE: Psalm 32:5 (AMPC) I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord [continually unfolding the past till all is told]—then You [instantly] forgave me the guilt and iniquity of My sin. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! Devotion  When Jesus died on the cross, He didn’t only pay for our forgiveness, but He paid the price to free us from guilt as well. When we acknowledge or admit our sin to God, telling Him everything, refusing to hide our sin, we’re able to receive His gift of grace. Confession is good for the soul; it allows us to let go of heavy burdens that are caused by guilty secrets. The feeling of guilt doesn’t always go away instantly, but we can choose to take God at His Word and say, “I am forgiven, and every trace of guilt has been removed from my record.” When we live by the truth of God’s Word, eventually our feelings will catch up with our decisions. Let’s say it toget...

Topic: More Than Just Words

Andrew Wommack Devotional 28 February 2021 – More Than Just Words Matthew 5:33-37, “But let your communication be, Yea, yea: Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.“ Text: Matthew 5:33-37 A person who has to swear or make a promise to validate his statements is a person whose word is no good. The thrust of Jesus’ teaching here is that we should live in such a manner that no one would ever have to have additional proof that we are telling the truth. Our word should be our bond. We have all heard the story of the young shepherd boy who cried wolf when there was no wolf until finally no one believed him when the wolf really came. Our lack of integrity in performing our word has the same effect on people today. Very few people conduct business anymore with their word and a handshake. Even contracts are not sacred if an individual can afford a good enough lawyer. But this is not the way God intended it. God has fulfilled every word He has ever spoken. We were created in ...

Title : Can You Be Obedient in All Things

"For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. 2 Corinthians 2:9" Devotion : Apostle Paul is one of the greatest leaders ever to have existed in the kingdom of God. He was concerned about the conduct of his converts in Corinth. He wanted to know whether hitherto they had been walking in obedience; not just one time obedience or obedience in some things, but obedience in all things. Apostle Paul came to a point of maturity that he could discern that the Holy Scriptures were true; therefore, they must be obeyed entirely. This should also be our attitude towards the Holy Bible; we should not choose what scripture to obey and what not to obey. Let us also be wise enough to judge the words/conducts we hear/see from our church leaders with the Holy Scriptures so that we are not deceived. Dearly beloved, which leader/pastor are you following? Follow the one who can help you obey the true gospel in all things, amen. Share ...

Title : Your One Day is About to Happen

"For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37" Devotion : As the days, months and years pass by, some of God's children have achieved their goals and objectives whilst others are yet to achieve their long awaited dreams. It is not too late to still trust the Holy Spirit for the fulfillment of your goals/dreams. It takes just a day/moment for God to bring to pass that which He has destined for you. Praise the Lord! Our dear father Abraham was very wealthy but his very challenge was getting an heir to fulfill his dream and God's promise. Finally, his day came when his wife conceived and brought forth Isaac, the promised heir. Moses faced challenges in Egypt when he decided to choose God's people over the Egyptians. He went into exile but his day came to pass when he was appointed by God to lead His people out of Egypt into the promised land. The day of David, Solomon, Sampson, Hannah, Elizabeth, Mary, Peter, etc. came to pass. Therefore, keep pressing on with...

Title : Concentrate on What You Have

"He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding. Proverbs 12:11" Devotion : The kingdom of God is filled with countless principles for living a healthy and prosperous life. The opening scripture wants every child of God to concentrate on whatever gift or talent the Holy One has given to him/her. In other words, our Father has endowed His children with several gifts/talents to prosper therewith. What He wants us to do is to search within us and find them, develop them and prosper with them. Anyone who does not concentrate on his/her gift/talent but associates with people who have no aim in life lacks understanding, and in no time will be a loser in life. Aside from the natural gifts/talents, our Lord Jesus Christ also gave spiritual gifts to every born again Christian to prosper withal, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11. As a child of God, your number one goal is to find your natural gifts and spiritual gifts; after find...

Title : Jesus Will Not Leave You nor Forsake You

"Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Psalms 51:11" Devotion : In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit - who is also called the Presence of God - came upon the prophets from time to time. He also walked with them from time to time. He left them after He had finished serving His purpose. He did not abide with them forever; the Holy Spirit had the tendency to forsake any person who took Him for granted, just as He forsook King Saul when Saul took Him for granted and disobeyed Him many times. King David had learnt of this event in the life of King Saul; hence, he was afraid the Holy Spirit could depart from him when he committed adultery with Bathsheba and subsequently murdered her husband. On the other hand, the New Testament gave us a new inheritance: the Presence of God/the Holy Spirit has come to abide with us forever, John 14:16. Therefore the Holy Spirit cannot leave us nor forsake us, Hebrews 13:5. Hallelujah! This calls for celebration,...

Title : Do You Know This Truth

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28" Devotion : The Apostle Paul uses the subject pronoun "we"; who was he referring to? He was referring to God, the Apostles, and all who are mature in Christ Jesus. Those who are mature in Christ come to this conclusion that all things have worked together for their good. If you want to be part of the "we" as a child of God, what you must do is to love God, find the purpose for which He has called you, and execute it. Faith without works is dead, James 2:17. Hence any child of God who says he/she loves God but is not doing the works of God or fulfilling the purpose of God is missing out. Such people will not have all things working together for their good. As you begin this new month, it is not too late to become part of the "we" so that the heavens, the earth, and the things therein will work together for you...
