“Let marriage be held in honour among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled.”  Hebrews 13:4 KJV  Reflection:  Faithfulness in marriage is not simply the absence of betrayal; it is the daily decision to honour the covenant you have made. It involves honesty, loyalty, transparency, and intentionally nurturing the trust that binds a husband and wife together.   Often, unfaithfulness begins with seemingly harmless actions that gradually create emotional distance from one's spouse. Excessive personal communication with someone of the opposite sex, sharing intimate family matters with them, or engaging in exchanges that foster emotional dependency can open doors to misunderstanding, temptation, or inappropriate attachment. Likewise, giving or receiving gifts in ways that create exclusive affection or emotional closeness should be approached with wisdom and caution. As believers, we are called to guard our hearts and protect the sanctity of our marriages.    ...

Just as a loving parent disciplines a child to help him grow into a responsible and successful adult, our Heavenly Father corrects His children to mould them into the image of Christ. God's discipline is never meant to harm us but to guide us in the path of righteousness and holiness. I am grateful for the godly discipline and training my parents gave us while we were growing up. They taught us the ways of the Lord, corrected us when we went astray, and consistently pointed us to Christ. Today, I am happy to testify that all of us remain in the faith. Scripture Focus: “For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” (Romans 10:11 (KJV) Trust is one of the most valuable gifts we can give. We trust parents, friends, leaders, our abilities, finances, and even technology. While these things may help us in life, they are limited and can fail us at critical moments. Human strength is imperfect, wealth can disappear, and earthly support can be absent when we need it most. God, however, is different. He is faithful, unchanging, and true to His word. The promise of Romans 10:11 assures us that anyone who places their faith in Christ will never be put to shame. Those who trust in God can rest confidently, knowing that He neither abandons nor disappoints His children. The Psalmist declared, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God” (Psalm 20:7). Scripture: “God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble.” – James 4:6 Ego is one of the greatest obstacles to spiritual growth. It quietly persuades us that we are self-sufficient, that our achievements are solely the result of our own strength, and that we do not need God's guidance. Yet, the more room ego occupies in our hearts, the less room there is for God to work in our lives. Throughout Scripture, God consistently honours humility. Humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less and recognising that every good gift, talent, and opportunity comes from Him. In Proverbs 29:23 we know that " A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit."  When we surrender our pride, we become teachable, compassionate, and dependent on God's wisdom instead of our own understanding. Lamentations 3:22-23 "It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." Every morning we wake up is a gift from God. While we sleep, He watches over us and sustains our lives. Many went to bed last night but did not wake up today. By His mercy and compassion, we have been given another day. God preserves us for a purpose: to worship Him, serve Him, and be a light to others. As long as we have breath, there is work to do in His kingdom. "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24). Let us begin each day with gratitude, remembering that every new morning is proof of God's faithfulness and another opportunity to live for His glory.
