Title : Call the Leaders

"Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: James 5:14"
Devotion : The opening scripture acknowledges that sickness does not come from God. It also exhorts believers in Christ Jesus to cultivate the habit of alerting church leaders to their difficulties, especially to attacks by the enemy so that the leaders can intercede on their behalf. We see that in the life of Jesus Christ of Nazareth; He healed the sick, delivered those who were possessed by demons, and gave power to His disciples to do the same. Dearly beloved, if you are facing any attack from the enemy, pray but do not forget to seek pastoral assistance. Share your comments here!

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
