Title : Hunger and Thirst

"And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 6:35"
Devotion : There are two things that affect mankind on a daily basis: hunger and thirst. Not satisfying the physical hunger and thirst for a period of time could lead to starvation and death. This is also true when it comes to spiritual hunger and thirst, which can lead to eternal death. Jesus Christ is the bread of life, the only person who can satisfy spiritual hunger and thirst. When you receive Jesus Christ into your life, He gives you eternal life to destroy eternal death, which is eternal separation from the Father, in the lake of fire. After satisfying your spiritual hunger and thirst, He makes sure that you are also satisfied physically from physical hunger and thirst. As the good shepherd, Jesus Christ is able to take care of His children both spiritually and physically. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
