Nigeria! A land flowing with milk and honey, created by the British without consideration for the peoples in the territory culture wise, religion and or ethnicity and language. 

Try as hard as the people are it  is like sand and salt you can't just mix together. While the south are industrious, educated the north side is poorly educated, archaic, retrogressive and holds others back. They prefer to use crude method to subjugate others to do their will.

Recently the biggest mistake was made because a sitting president was performing below expectations a supposedly agent of change was elected. On getting to the post he chose to be a sectional govt filling all important posts with incapable bigots like himself. He came to fulfill an agenda ie islamization of the nation. With herdsmen killing without control and taking over other people's farmland.

The economy is in shambles- fuel price hike, food items beyond the average person on the street, electricity bill increased against court judgement, bad roads, schools not maintained and massive looting of treasury even though the government claim to be fighting corruption. No salary increase since 2003 though cost of everything has increased by >1000%.

Parents can no longer send their wards to decent schools. Graduates now ride motorcycles as means of transportation( nothing like that when we were growing up). People are owed 6-9months of salary, forget about pensioners. Contractors are not paid for job done. Yet in all these govt is still behaving as if nothing is at stake.

 Lest I forgot kidnapping is the other of the day everywhere. People get killed for rituals like animals , a life is not worth more than a few thousands. An undergraduate female student was recently sold for 10 thousand naira and killed for rituals. No govt reaction because the people involved are probably one of the untouchables.

The country is held down by snail speed decision making- 8 months to nominate ministers, boards of parastatals yet to be chosen 2 years into govt that will last4 years. No important decision or work/ employment can be carried out in these situations, thus grinding everything to a halt.

People are agitating for dissolution of the marriage of inconvenience they were forced into by British. Some want ?fiscal federalism a pseudonym for dissolution.

 It will take God to keep Nigeria together, but I don't wish so #istandforoduduwarepublic.
