Are You Time Conscious? 
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:1–8 (KJV)

The Holy Scriptures provides us with enough information to be able to live a successful Christian life. God has set a time and season for everything He has made on the earth (Genesis 8:22). The opening scripture enumerates specific times when some events occur in life: a time to be born, a time to plant, a time to heal, a time to love, etc. These times and seasons when such events happen in our lives are crucial if we want to fulfill our purposes on the earth. For instance, if you miss the rainy season, which is the time to plant, you have to wait for another rainy season. This makes it vital to be conscious of the times and seasons in our lives so that we do not miss any of them. We should also make judicious use of the time God gives us every day to prepare for the season of opportunities that God has destined for us, and we will be a blessing to many. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, please open my eyes to know my time and season in order not to miss any of them. Amen!

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
