What Are You Thinking About? 
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8 (KJV)

You become what you think about continually. The mind is so powerful that it has the ability to change the course of your life. Whatever you put in your mind has a tendency to show on the outside through your behavior or conduct. The born again Christian has been directed by the Word of God to think about things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable; these thoughts produce excellence in conduct and give praise to God. Dear beloved, be conscious of your thoughts and quickly change them if they don’t line up with God’s Word, and your life will be peaceful and praiseworthy (John 15:3). Hallelujah! Be in charge of your thoughts!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word. Always make me conscious of thinking right. Amen!

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
