Title : Believing Lifestyle

"Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. John 20:27"
Devotion : Jesus Christ of Nazareth has designed a lifestyle for Christians. This a lifestyle of continual believing in the Word of God and the work of God. The Apostle Thomas was a man who lived by the principle of the world: the principle that states that seeing is believing. However, when he encountered Jesus Christ after His resurrection, he learned to adopt a new principle from Jesus Christ. Jesus taught him that in order to see or materialize the Word of God, he must first believe; hence, believing is seeing. This principle is also designed for us to live by today. We must live a life of continually believing in the Word of God and the work of God if we want to enjoy all the promises of God pertaining to our lives. Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
