Title : Traveling?

Psalms 121:8  The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Devotion: In many places, life has become so cheap and nobody even knows who will be kidnapped or killed next. The highways are bad, road traffic accidents are commonplace and kidnapping is rife. The airport was taken over by terrorists while the railways was bombed with many deaths recorded and many travelers still unaccounted for. One can conclude that no means of travel is safe. 
Reading all this is enough reason to move nearer to God and be prayerful. Nobody seems to know what to do next but we have a God who knows and He is ready to save his own people.
 It is now apparent that we have to call on Him before stepping out of the house. He has promised to ensure that our trip will be incident free
As you go out this morning just call on God for safe travels. Have a safe trip in Jesus name, Hallelujah amen.

Title: When your time shall be over, you'll fly away.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
