Title: Be Assured!

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11 KJV
Devotion: Once you give your life to Christ and repent of your sins the Holy Spirit of God (will) lives in you. This Spirit is the comforter promised by Jesus (John 14:26) and it is the Spirit of God that raised Jesus Christ from the dead. 
 By simple logic, it is understandable that if this holy spirit lives in you he will raise your mortal(perishable) body from the dead at the appropriate time. We know that Jesus who made the promise to send the holy spirit did not fail(Acts 2:3-4), hence in this case we also believe he will not fail.
 All that is required of me and you is Faith and steadfast expectation of His(Jesus') coming. Therefore dearly beloved I urge you to remain steadfast in your Faith in God (Mark 11:22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.)
  Do all that is humanely possible and the Holy Spirit will assist you to accomplish the rest. Hallelujah.

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
