Title: Living in Unity.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
Psalm 133:1 KJV

Devotion: I remember we used to sing a song from the verse above at departure for end of year vacation in school. The song was to remind us of beautiful time we had in hostels and a urge to come back. It was a beautiful song which unfortunately I have not heard anyone sing in recent years. Back then life was simple we lived in our communities and villages in friendship, we were one big family, I could go to a friend's family house and eat with love, the was no fear the other guys will also share from my food as well.
These days of hardship and financial insecurity such is not frequent again. In fact friendship and communal living is not mordern again because our handsets and computers have become our friends. There are people with millions of online friends they had never met before and will never meet. Families live under the same roof but hardly speak to each other because each person is preoccupied with his or her handset, chatting "friends" from distant lands. No wonder doctors are seeing many cases of depression in their clinics.
I urge you dear reader to come back to Christ and emulate him. Jesus lived among his disciples, they ate together, drink together and slept together. Jesus remains our standard, no matter what let's follow in his footsteps, show love to neighbours, find time to speak one on one with them. We should visit our parents and vice versa parents should visit their children. Online friendship is not friendship. Dearly beloved what is your opinion on this?
