Title: God's Workmanship!

[10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Devotion: Read this interpretation from the amplified Bible:  ‭‭Ephesians 2:10 AMP‬‬
[10] For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].
  The followers of Christ are the works of his hand ie they are the saved by Grace not by good works so that none will boast that he or she worked for his salvation. Salvation is not of good works but of grace, an undeserved gift from God through Jesus his son to reconcile us with God. 
Now why are we saved? We are saved to do the good works which God has prepared for you and me to do. What's the works? Act of kindness to strangers, love to the undeserving, mercy to the merciless, giving to the needy, directing people (preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ) to God and to worship God in our bodies and works. 
 The question I'll like to ask this morning is are you ready for the work? What do to need to do the work of God? You're ready when you have become born again in Christ. When you have knowledge of the word of God and are filled with the Holy Spirit then you're truly prepared. Get a copy of the Holy Bible and join a living Church ie a church where only undiluted word of God is preached. It's also good to be a prayer warrior and you're good to do the works of your father God.
