Title: When God Is Silent.

Reflection:
There was a period of over 400 years between the Old and New Testament when God did not send a prophet to Israel. No visions, no dreams, no fresh revelation. To many, it may have seemed like abandonment. Yet, God was not absent—He was watching, preparing, and waiting for the fullness of time to send His Son (Galatians 4:4).  
  In our own lives, we sometimes experience seasons of silence. We pray, but answers seem delayed. We seek, but the heavens feel closed. This silence is not rejection—it is an invitation. God’s silence calls us deeper into His Word, into prayer, and into fellowship with His people. It is in these moments that our faith is tested and strengthened.  
  When in this type of situation we are called to take the following steps to find God- 
- Seek Him diligently: “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8)  
- Stay rooted in Scripture: His Word remains alive even when His voice feels distant.  
- Pray persistently: Silence is not a reason to stop praying—it is a reason to pray harder.  
- Fellowship faithfully: Surround yourself with believers who encourage and sharpen your faith.  
  In closing let us remember that God’s silence is never His absence. Just as He broke the silence with the coming of Christ, He will manifest Himself in your life at the appointed time. Don’t wait until tomorrow—seek Him today, while He may be found.  
  Prayer: Lord, in seasons of silence, help me to trust Your presence. Teach me to seek You with all my heart, to delight in Your Word, and to remain steadfast in prayer. May Your silence draw me closer, until Your voice breaks forth in my life. Amen.

Genesis 17:1  And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. Devotion: Walking with God is more than just a phrase—it is a way of life, an intimate journey of faith, trust, and obedience.
