Title : Spirit of fear

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7" Devotion : Fear comes from the devil whilst faith comes from God. The scripture is telling us not to entertain fear in our life. Any time fear wants to show up in you, declare "God has not given me the spirit of fear, I have power, love, and sound mind." As you do that the fear will disappear.  NB: to access this promise you must live in total obedience, without blemish because sin causes fear. So be sinless.  Fear creates doubt, anxiety, and panic if entertained. As a Christian, dwell on what you have: power, love, and a sound mind. Title : Ministering Angels

"They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Psalm 91:12" Devotion : Angels are ministering spirits sent by God to serve the heirs of salvation, Hebrews 1:14. Our Lord Jesus Christ enjoyed the ministration of angels whilst on earth, especially during and after His forty-day fasting in the wilderness. Even though we do not always see angels with our optical eyes they minister to us when we go to bed, in our dreams, during the day, etc. Let us be conscious of this fact and pray, commanding them to do their work, and they shall obey. Dear reader, do you believe that angels minister to you? Share your comments here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Showing Kindness

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9" Devotion : Sometimes, it is human nature to feel tired but when it comes to showing kindness or doing good to one another, the Word of God says we should not be tired or weary. If we become tired of showing one another kindness, meanness will set in and we will begin to hate and backbite one another. This will break the fabric of our Christianity and friendship. Also, we will lose the reward God is preparing for us. Dear reader, do you feel weary in doing well? Title : Husbands have been commanded

"Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Colossians 3:19" Devotion : The husband in a marriage certainly has a duty toward his wife and must love her. The Bible is aware that the wife has several weaknesses that will appear in the marriage; therefore, the husband should not be bitter. A husband who loves his wife will teach her, counsel her, share ideas with her, be patient with her, make time for her, listen to her, not cheat on her, etc. Marriage is not compulsory, so a man who cannot love his wife should not marry and put the wife at risk. Title : Crucified with Christ

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20" Devotion : The apostle Paul has the consciousness of being crucified with Christ. He came to the point of believing that it was Christ Jesus who was living in him and doing the work that he did. He came to the point of denying self. Jesus Christ said that if we do not deny self and follow Him, we cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven. The apostle Paul is a typical example of a person who denied himself, and took up the cross and followed Jesus. As Christians, we are to do the same: we must crucify all our selfish desires and carry the cross of Christ Jesus and live for Him. Dear reader, who do you live for? Title : Enter His gates with thanksgiving

"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Psalm 100:4" Devotion : Thanksgiving is a key to open doors. No wonder the Word of God says in everything we should give thanks to God! Thanksgiving attracts God's attention; therefore, it is good to start your prayers with thanksgiving. It also gives you the opportunity to see what God has done for you. Furthermore, it gives you a cheerful heart. As children of God, we have been born into God's presence. As we give Him thanks and bless His name, we stir up His presence to action and He becomes ever ready to help us. Dear reader, do you have a sacrifice of thanksgiving for God? Title : Submission

"Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Colossians 3:18" Devotion : The virtue of submission is a good moral attribute that all Christians must exhibit. In the area of marriage, the principle is clear for the couple; the wife must submit to her husband and the husband must love his wife. It is quite sad sometimes that these principles are relegated to the background, leading to misunderstandings in marriage. In order to maintain sanity in marriage, women desiring to marry should marry men to whom they can submit. Likewise, men should marry women they can love. Marriage is not compulsory; it is meant for those who want to live by the principles God has laid down for Christian marriage. Dear reader, do you desire to get married? Think carefully about these principles and do not be compelled to marry. Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline
