Title : Gods Principle about Work

"For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. Thessalonians 3:10"
Devotion : God Almighty created work for mankind right from the beginning, in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:15). The Apostle Paul was emphasizing God's principle about work to the church in Thessalonica. Apparently some believers in the church became busybodies: running from house to house and engaging in all manner of fruitless indulgence; some were idle and were fed even though they had the ability to work for themselves. Christians are commanded to work so that they have the financial ability to support the gospel and the needy in the church and society. Never depend on the government for work, rather depend on God to give the right work to do. Dear beloved, do you work? Why are you working? Share your thoughts here!

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
