Title: Emulate God!

Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
Romans 12:10 ESV
Devotion: The missing link in the world today is the four letter word -LOVE. Wherever there's no Love there's strife, vice in all forms and bitterness. Nations war against nations, brother against brother because there is no Love. The absence of love leads to pride, oppression, covetousness, separation and lack of empathy. 
The Bible says God is Love (1 John 4:16b
God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him) and we see the manifestation of that in that he sent His begotten Son (John 3:16) to die for our sin. The son Jesus Christ also tells us to Love our neighbours like ourselves (Mark 12:31), but what do we have today? Supposedly Christian nations come in the name of love only to oppress and covet natural resources of poorer and weaker nations. There's strife within the Christian family, between husband and wife, children because Love is absent. 
In 1 John 4:16b, we know that "God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him". If we say we believe in God why then is strife and hatred. If we believe then we must emulate God and Love one another.
  What then is the solution? Paul counsels us in Romans 12:10 above to "Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor".
