Title: Evangelism in difficult places
Romans 10:14, 17 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Devotion: In many places in Africa especially the Sahel region, there are many who have not heard of Jesus at all, what they probably heard of him is totally different and wrong from who Jesus is. This is the reason they do not believe him and they call Jesus' followers infidels and slaughter them like rams.
Evangelists are available to teach them but they stopped their ears because they do not want to hear. They have an agenda to implement therefore they do not want to hear of Jesus. There are such people amongst us too, who because of their evil ways do not want to hear about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
What can we do in such situation? The effective way is to pray and pray for such person or group of people. Nobody can come to Christ unless the person is called. I urge us to pray earnestly for the salvation of these unbelievers in our neighborhood and regions. Then we gradually preach to them physically, use tracts and through the radio and television. God will do the rest.
Dear reader, do you have suggestions on how to reach the unreached? Please guide us. Hallelujah.
