Title: Respect the Youths.
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
I Timothy 4:12 NKJV
Devotion: The population of youths are growing tremendously in many churches these days and there is need to manage this properly by the older generation. If managed properly the youth forms a great army of God, ready to go to the field to win more souls for Christ.
Youths crave respect and love while the older generation crave respect. We all love our children but that's not the end of it we must respect their views on the church and Gospel matter as well. To make this possible is to guide their views and to make sure youths do not derail from the words of God. We must be ready to listen to them as they introduce new approach to mission works and gently make lovely corrections to make sure the word of God is not corrupted.
Let's have youths in the different church committees and boards so that they can air their views and it be fine tuned. We need to train them like Paul trained Timothy before making him a Bishop.
Dearly beloved, what is your take on this? May God lead us aright in Jesus name, Hallelujah.
