Title: How are you living your life? Soberly?

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; ‭Titus 2:11-12 KJV‬
Devotion: God created man and woman and made them live a perfect life in the garden of Eden. But devil played trick on the woman thus making her and her husband to sin. Thereafter all other living persons became sinners(Romans 3:23). We lived as we liked before now, satisfying the lust of the flesh and eye. We lived in unhealthy relationship, drink, gossip and some people outrightly wicked.
  But God is magnanimous He does not want to see His creation perish so He made a way of escape (2 Samuel 14:14) by giving us His begotten son Jesus Christ(John 3:16) that whosoever believe in Jesus as son of God should be saved and not perish. With this you and me have salvation free of charge without any sweat or money. It is by grace and not of works done. 
  Thank God for Jesus who died for our sins on the Cross on Mount Calvary. We should come to Him, give our lives to Him and Holy Spirit the comforter and teacher will teach us to live in love of God and for our neighbours.
 Now that we are saved we are to live our lives for Christ in a soberly, obediently and lovely way. We are to love our neighbours as ourselves to show example of God's love to mankind. 
Dearly beloved, have you given your life to Christ? Let's have your testimonies since you did. Stay blessed in Jesus name. Amen.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
