Title: You are a Winner!
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 KJV
Devotion: We daily encounter people who supposedly hate us, people who are openly against us and sometimes too we act that way. Does that mean we are evil? No, but the devil uses people to carry out his evil work.
The people devil likes to use are the children of God because he- devil is not happy seeing people live for Christ. So devil sees a good family and sows seed of discord in there, someone progressing he puts a stumbling block on his way in form of a boss who hates the person. When devil sees someone spreading the good news of Christ he entices him with money or fornication just to destroy him. In all these devil uses real people, people we know, love, colleagues etc. We see them as enemy but the enemy is devil.
So when we pray, it has to be against the Devil in these persons that God should deliver them from it. We should not hate them but love them, see them as normal persons, do not pray that they die, but that devil in them should die.
Remember nothing can overcome God, and so when we rely on God—nothing can overcome us. In every situation, we are more than conquerors because God deeply loves us. This is why we don’t have to be afraid of the spiritual fight—God has already won it. We need to remind ourselves of this truth so that way we can withstand the attacks from Satan when they come.
The attacks will end, because God will win. So today, let's fill our mind with truth. Hold fast to our faith, and guard our heart. Walk in peace toward everyone, and memorize Scripture so that way we can wield it as a weapon against any spiritual attack that comes our way.
No matter what we face—God is already fighting for us. He is in control, and He will never leave us. He will never let us fall as long as we keep clinging to Him.
When we belong to God, we have the power to subdue, crush, and overthrow anything the devil throws at us. God’s power makes us more than a conqueror.
I urge you to defeat devil and his company on your knees and faith in God. Live a life of obedience, God will fight your battles for you and you'll be victorious in Jesus name, Halleluyah.
