Title: Seeing the bigger picture!

 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. ‭Colossians 3:2 KJV‬
Devotion: Most people work and set targets for themselves at the beginning of the year. While some continue to pursue and achieve the target most get distracted and lose focus by April. What causes this among those who fail to meet target? Lost of focus internally or extraneous factors like diseases, accidents, the work close down or simply because they get better deal somewhere.
  To those who set their eyes on things above the outcome is different because they never lose focus. The Bible says in Romans 8:28 "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." Those who love God set their eyes on things above, they become elect, all things work for their success. As a result they achieve more than worldly person. They are satisfied and filled with joy for their achievements though humanly speaking it may be little yet they are satisfied. 
 Are you in any situation? Set your eyes on Jesus, remember during his earthly life Jesus, though has power to escape from his persecutors he did not renounce God,  Jesus decided that the will of the Father must be fulfilled and stood firm to the end(Luke 22:42). This means Jesus set His eyes on things above, He saw the bigger picture of things to happen thereafter. The bigger picture is the reason you and I are saved from the evil one today, it is the reason of our salvation. 
So, I urge you dear reader to see the bigger picture, stand right with Christ, set your eyes on Him and the outcome will be awesome and you will give glory to God. Please share your thoughts on this topic with us here.
