Title: Pray with Thanksgiving Daily.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6  
Devotion: Prayer and thanksgiving is a very important part of a serious Christian's life. Some neglect it and only pray when they need something from God. But Paul demonstrated this and emphasized it severally in his teaching to Thessalonians, Ephesians and Colossians and elsewhere (1 Thessalonians 5 :17; Romans 1:9; 2 Timothy 1:3 and Colossians 4 vs 2)
 Prayer is a demonstration of faith in the ability of God to do something and when you pray regularly it shows you have a robust relationship with God. There is a world of difference between praying to God and praying with God. Pray to(talk to) is like no relationship with the person you talk to, like you're the boss. Pray with (talk with) shows a very good relationship, a trust and an expectation of an answer from God. 
The discussion this morning is not just prayer but prayer with Thanksgiving which means you are sure of an answer, so you thank God in advance. It should also be accompanied with supplication (an earnest request) which shows that you really need a response from God and that your prayer request is not frivolous.
 A praying Christian is a powerful Christian, he prays in advance and has little or no troubles. Prayer is like vaccination against an infection therefore when you pray daily you avert a lot of evil that would have happened. I personally have experienced this when on a certain Sunday afternoon the spirit just told me to kneel down and start praying for my children. Few minutes after my son was involved in road accident in which 3 of his friends lost their lives but he survived with mild injuries. 
 Dearly beloved, I urge you to cultivate the habit of praying with thanksgiving. It is a sure way to grow in faith, increase relationship with God and save you from evil times. Have a blessed day in Jesus name. Halleluyah.
