Title: Life Lessons and the Bible.



Good morning! Today, let’s reflect on the wisdom found in life’s experiences and how Scripture speaks to them. Life is full of lessons, and God’s Word gives us direction and understanding.
1. Burial rice tastes nice until it’s cooked in your compound.
   - Reflection: Sometimes, suffering feels distant until it comes close.  
   - Bible Verse: “The heart knows its own bitterness, and no stranger shares its joy.” (Proverbs 14:10)
2. Betrayal is within.
   - Reflection: Even Jesus was betrayed by one of His own.  
   - Bible Verse: “Even my close friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me.” (Psalm 41:9)
3. Now it is not easy to erase the mistake. 
   - Reflection: As we grow, our actions carry weight.  
   - Bible Verse: “For whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)
4. One day, the ground we walk on will be our roof. 
   - Reflection: Life is fleeting—live for eternity.  
   - Bible Verse: “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12)
5. If loyalty was real, water is not supposed to cook the fish. 
   - Reflection: True loyalty stands firm even in trials.  
   - Bible Verse: “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” (Proverbs 17:17)
6. People don’t abandon those they love; they abandon those they are using.
   - Reflection: Genuine love is steadfast.  
   - Bible Verse: “Love never fails.” (1 Corinthians 13:8)
7. How I wish RIP meant Return If Possible. 
   - Reflection: Death reminds us to cherish life.  
   - Bible Verse: “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”(Philippians 1:21)
8. You may not even be part of the future you’re stressed about. 
   - Reflection: Trust in God’s plan.  
   - Bible Verse:“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” (Matthew 6:34)
9. The day you lose your father… 
   - Reflection: Fathers are a blessing.  
   - Bible Verse:“A righteous man walks in integrity; blessed are his children after him.” (Proverbs 20:7)
10. The sheep feared the wolf, but the shepherd ate it. 
   - Reflection: Be wise in who you trust.  
   - Bible Verse:“Be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” (Matthew 10:16)
11. We cried loudly as kids to be noticed, but now we cry silently.
   - Reflection: God sees our silent tears.  
   - Bible Verse:“You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in Your bottle.” (Psalm 56:8)
12. My mom always said, ‘don’t talk while eating.’
   - Reflection: Some wisdom comes with time.  
   - Bible Verse: “The words of the wise heard in quiet are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools.”(Ecclesiastes 9:17)
13. Just because you have a good mom doesn’t mean your dad has a good wife.
   - Reflection: Marriage requires grace.  
   - Bible Verse:“Love is patient, love is kind.” (1 Corinthians 13:4)
14. Is this the life we were kicking our mothers’ stomachs for? 
   - Reflection: Life’s struggles remind us to trust in God.  
   - Bible Verse: “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
15. Just because you’re a good person doesn’t mean the world owes you kindness. 
   - Reflection: Do good without expecting reward.  
   - Bible Verse: “Do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
16. When the blind man sees, he throws away the stick that helped him for years. 
   - Reflection: Never forget what sustained you.  
   - Bible Verse: “Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth.” (Deuteronomy 8:18)
17. Nowadays, you need money to become a member of your own family.
   - Reflection: Love should not be for sale.  
   - Bible Verse: “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have.” (Hebrews 13:5)
18. Family is like a forest—from a distance, they seem close. 
   - Reflection: True unity comes from love, not appearances.  
   - Bible Verse:“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1)
19. Everybody knows what they are doing.  
   - Reflection: God sees all.  
   - Bible Verse: “For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing.” (Ecclesiastes 12:14)
