A new beginning, start it well.

Start the Year Well! 
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (KJV)

The beginning of everything is very important. How you begin determines how it will end. God even knows the end from the beginning, so it is not surprising that He began creation with the Holy Spirit, the architect of creation (Genesis 1:2–3). Dear beloved, start this year with the Holy Spirit. The disciples of Jesus Christ couldn’t have been good witnesses without the Holy Spirit, and they had to wait till they were filled with the Holy Spirit before they could preach and teach the gospel to win souls for Jesus Christ. Beloved, the Holy Spirit knows all things; He knows the new year better than you do, and that is why it is necessary to start the year with Him. If you are born again, then He is in you; therefore, make time to wait on Him through prayer and the Word of God. You can add fasting to it if you are led. Thus He will show you what awaits you in the new year so that you can cooperate with Him as He prepares you to triumph in it (John 16:13). Receive grace to succeed in this new year in Jesus’ name. Amen! Hallelujah!
