The Benefits of Maturity 
“And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.” 1 Samuel 3:19 (KJV)

There are countless benefits that we enjoy when we attain the level of maturity that God desires for us. The opening scripture throws light on one of them. When Samuel grew to maturity, all his words came to pass; God could trust him and was willing to use him. All the Israelites knew him as a prophet, and God continually appeared and revealed Himself to him (1 Samuel 3:20–21). Dear beloved, get to know the Lord through His Word and the exercise of your faith on a daily basis. When you take the Holy Scriptures seriously and believe that they have all the answers to all your challenges, that will be the beginning of your maturity. Continual meditation and using the Word of God will mature you, and God will trust and use you to fulfill His divine purpose. When God begins to use you to fulfill His divine purpose, there will be no end to the blessings He will shower on you. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Lord, I avail myself to you to lead me to maturity in you, amen.
