HAVE YOU FOUND THE MESSIAH

Have You Found the Messiah? 
“One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.” John 1:40–42 (KJV)

Finding the Messiah creates such a joy in one’s heart that one cannot keep it to themselves. The nature of the Messiah is love; this love is unconditional, and He even gives all of Himself. No wonder He sacrificed His life for the sin of mankind on the cross of Calvary (Mark 15:34–37). Dear beloved, have you found the Messiah? His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. If you have truly found Him, your spiritual thirst and hunger will be filled; you will have so much joy inside of you that you will not be able to keep silent but will share His love with your family, friends, and neighbors, just as Andrew did (John 1:41). You can’t find the true Messiah and still be shy about talking about His love and goodness. If you are still too shy to share the gospel with others, then ask the Holy Spirit to help you, and He will give you that boldness to do it. Don’t allow the devil to cloth you with shyness and rob you of the blessings that go with sharing the gospel. Be bold, and be the ambassador that God has made you. Hallelujah! You are an overcomer!

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial.
