The Lord is my inheritance

Are You Aware of the Magnitude of Your Inheritance? 
“The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.” Psalm 16:5–6 (KJV)

Inheritance is the practice of passing on property, titles, debts, rights, and obligations upon the death of an individual. The rules of inheritance differ among societies and have changed over time. The Kingdom of God has many inheritances for the children of God. Some of the inheritances are eternal life, the name of the Lord, heaven, the earth, etc. The greatest of these inheritances is God Himself. When you have God as your inheritance, all the other inheritances become yours as well. In this dispensation, He has revealed Himself in the person of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thus if you have Jesus Christ in your life, you have the greatest inheritance in this life and in the life to come. No wonder His Word says Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). When you have Jesus Christ in you, you become an heir of God and joint heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). Therefore boast of your inheritance in Christ, and everything will work together for your good. Hallelujah! God bless you!

Prayer Point: Dear Lord, please make me aware of all the inheritances I have in you, and lead me to them, amen.
