Key of the Kingdom

"And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3" Devotion : Jesus Christ has made a profound statement worthy of meditation. Except every person who calls himself/herself a Christian is converted and become as little child he/she will not enter into the kingdom of heaven. What could Jesus mean? Let us look at the qualities of little children. They are dependent on their parents, honest, forgiving and forgetful, trust their parents, accept whatever their parents give them, teachable, and obedient. Likewise Christians who are truly converted are dependent on Jesus Christ, honest, forgiving and forgetful, trust God, accept what God gives them, run to God for answers, teachable, and obedient.  Dear beloved, are you truly converted as a little child? Are you Ashamed of Jesus Christ?

“Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;” 2 Timothy 1:8 (KJV) The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the only way mankind can be saved (Acts 4:12). The gospel could have gone further than what we see today if every Christian was testifying about the goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ. Many Christians are not enthused about preaching the gospel because of self-centeredness. Some are too busy with other things; others feel too shy to share their Christian faith for reasons best known to them. Dear beloved, no excuse is too great to be silent over the testimony of our Lord. If you feel too shy or ashamed to preach the gospel to the lost, Jesus Christ won’t testify for you before the father and could take away your portion from the Kingdom of God (Luke 9:26). Don’t allow the suffering, afflictions, or challenges in your life to prevent you from sharing your Christ...

Fear God

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28" Devotion : The opening scripture throws light on who we are to fear; Jesus Christ exhorted his disciples on many occasions to fear not but on this occasion pointed out who they are to fear. The body is predisposed to various attacks from the devil and his cohorts of darkness but the soul is out of their reach. The only person who has access to both the soul and the body is God; He is the creator of the soul and the body and has power to destroy both in hell. Therefore, the deceived who think hell is a myth should understand that hell is real and God has the ability to destroy them in hell if they don't repent from their sins and make Jesus Christ their Lord. Let us fear God and obey His commandments; for this is the whole duty of man, Ecclesiastes 12:13. God bless you. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?i...

Who Is Your Friend?

“He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.” Proverbs 18:9 (KJV) Show me your friends and I will tell who you are.  A friend is a person whom one loves and trusts, a close companion or comrade. The virtue of making friends is inherent in every human being, and  that is why is rare to see someone without any friends. We all want to be in the company of people, either our families or friends. A friend can influence you to do what is right or wrong, and that is why it is very important to choose friends carefully. Use the Word of God to choose a friend who is diligent, godly, and trustworthy (Proverbs 10:4). A diligent, godly, and trustworthy friend will influence you to be like them: productive and fearing and serving the Lord. But a careless or slack friend will only lead you to a wasteful and destructive life. May the Holy Spirit lead you to choose the right friends. Hallelujah! Be friendly! Prayer Point: Dear Holy Spirit, please lead me to ...

Never Doubt God

"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Matthew 7:11" Devotion : Jesus Christ is indeed God; He could discern the mind of his audience and made the remarkable statement above. He said God, our Father, is able to give us much more than what we give our children. This should encourage someone to pray without ceasing. We should never doubt God because Jesus has given us a scripture to the effect that God is ever willing to give us what He has promised in His Word. Jesus Christ has also revealed by the scripture above that God only gives good things to His children. James, the apostle, also buttressed this point when he said all good and perfect things come from God, James 1:17. Dear reader what inspiration can you draw from the passage? http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

GIVE NOT.

"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Matthew 7:6" Devotion : The Lord Jesus Christ referred to some people as dogs and others as swine. The people who are dogs are those who do not appreciate godly things. On the other hand the swine represents people who take precious things for granted; for example a person who claims to be a Christian and delights in committing sin is a swine. The people who render evil for good are also swine. If you give your body to strange men or women who it's to dogs and swine, depart from harlotry.  http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

KEY TO RECEIVE BLESSINGS

“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.” Proverbs 31:30 (KJV) It is only the blessings of God that create true riches in our lives, and no sorrow accompanies them (Proverbs 10:22). The blessings of the Lord don’t come into our lives by chance; they come through the fear of God. The opening scripture buttresses this. The woman became a virtuous wife because she feared the Lord, and God blessed the work of her hands. She was praised by her husband, her children, and all who came into contact with her. Dear beloved, do you want to be blessed? Then begin to fear God, and depart from evil (Proverbs 16:6). When people begin to praise you for the godly fear you exhibit in your daily endeavors, it is a sign of God’s blessings coming into your life. Before long, you will begin to see the manifestation of the great blessings that you couldn’t imagine before. Hallelujah! Be blessed! Prayer Point: Dear Heavenly Father, I have decided...

Key to receive blessings

Do You Know the Key to All Things?

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” Colossians 1:16–17 (KJV) Having the key to all things is to function from a place of rest. It is not the will of God that His children struggle throughout life without any rest. Indeed, He has prepared a place of rest for His children (Hebrews 4:9). This place of rest is in His Son Jesus Christ. The opening scripture is clear that He created all things in heaven and on the earth; even thrones and principalities are the work of His hands. Dear beloved, if you are born again, you have Jesus Christ, the key to all things. Be conscious of this truth, and continually confess it till every part of you is convinced of it. Know Him through the Word of God, and fellowship with Him. Use His name at all times to find soluti...

Honour Your Government

"They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. Matthew 22:21" Devotion : The Pharisees wanted to entangle Jesus Christ with matters of the law regarding taxes but Jesus was smarter than they could ever think. He told them to pay their taxes and also give God His due. A lot of people these days misinterpret this scripture, especially those who are not born again. One musician was asked why he mixed gospel songs with his secular music and he quoted the scripture above; this is a misuse or misinterpreting the scripture. Dear reader, do you honour your government by paying taxes or you evade them? Share your comments here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Are You Still Battling With Fear?

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV) If you are still battling with fear as a child of God, then it’s time to face that fear head on and defeat it. Fear is a spirit from the devil and his demons to make you timid or cowardly. Allowing timidity or cowardice to overwhelm you will rob you of peace and the success God has for you. As a child of God, the first step to defeat fear is to know who you are. Second is to know what God has given to you. Third is to use what God has given to you in faith. Finally is to experience the miracle after application. By virtue of your sonship with God, you have the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Tell the spirit of fear (maybe fear of darkness) that you have power over it, hate it, and rebuke it in Jesus’ name. Now do what you couldn’t do in the midst of the fear, and you will notice that fear has disappeared; you have defeated it (Mark 16:17–18). Hallelujah! You are ...

Beware of False Prophets

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Matthew 7:15" Devotion : One of the signs of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is the emergence of false prophets. In fact they will be so many that the love of many will grow cold, especially those who become victims of such false prophets. It is our duty to identify the false prophet using the Word of God; scripture says by their fruits we shall know them. Let us use the Word of God to check their conducts, actions, preaching, speeches etc and we will know whether they are false prophets or true prophets. Dear reader, have ever been a victim to any false prophet? yes but the word of God exposed him and deliver me. what about you?  read the word and get out of bondage. If he asks you to do anything outside the Bible run, he's fake.  http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Watch

"Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:13" Devotion : Jesus Christ loved His disciples so much that He told them everything. He was not prepared to lose any of them. Likewise He is not prepared to lose any believer in Christ Jesus, therefore, He said we should not take things for granted but be alert concerning the kingdom of God. The rapture will occur unannounced so we should be watchful in prayer and not take spiritual instructions for granted. Kindly write your views in the personal notes section! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

TWO MASTERS

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:24" Devotion : When Jesus Christ used the word "serve" He used to represent total devotion. In other words, no one can be totally devoted to two masters. Due to personal differences, he will be drawn to one than the other; hence love one and hate the other. God and mammon or worldly riches are two different masters; you cannot choose both since God demands full devotion to Him, spirit, soul, and body. Jesus Christ said what shall it profit a man if you gain the whole world and lose your soul. It means if you are given the opportunity to choose, choose to serve God. Dear reader, if you have the opportunity to make a choice between serving God and worldly riches, what will you choose? I will counsel you to - (Matthew 6:33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and al...

All Things Are Working for Your Good!

“But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel; So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places; And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.” Philippians 1:12–14 (KJV) The goal of the Most High is that all His children will come to a place of maturity in Him. God only gives the most difficult tasks to those children of His who are spiritually mature. Apostle Paul is a good example of a spiritually mature child of God. He never complained about terrible things that happened to him, such as imprisonment, scourging, hunger, shipwreck, etc. He understood that they all created opportunities for him to preach the gospel. In other words, they worked for the good of God’s Kingdom because lives were transformed and many were brought to salvation. Dear beloved, learn from Apostle Paul, and neve...

The Holy Spirit Makes a Difference!

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38 (KJV) There are secrets in the Word of God, and finding such secrets is the key to opening doors in your life. One of the secrets is the Holy Spirit. He is so vital for the Christian life that Jesus Christ couldn’t do without Him. He anointed Jesus Christ with power to enable Him to do good and heal the oppressed. Dear beloved, if you are born again, the Holy Spirit is in you. Get to know Him through the Word of God, and ask Him to empower you for ministry, and He will gladly do so. Take advantage of His presence in you so that you can make a great difference on this earth (Acts 1:8). You will begin to live a supernatural life like Jesus Christ, to your amazement. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer! Prayer Point: Dear Holy Spirit, I acknowledge your presence in my life. Please anoint me with power to make a diffe...

My challenges won't Last Forever!

Your Challenges Won’t Last Forever!  “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” 1 Peter 5:10 (KJV) Know that the Word of God has answers for every question and a solution for every problem, which makes the Christian walk worthwhile. The Christian walk is not devoid of suffering or challenges; the opening scripture confirms this. It goes further to state that there are unique blessings received for suffering for Christ. God will complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you for suffering for Christ Jesus. Dear beloved, this should make you celebrate the Lord because your challenges have not come to stay; they will soon give way to your blessings. Complaining in the midst of challenges will simply draw you back and make your situation worse. No wonder Apostle Paul says, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4). Belov...

God Has the Best in Store for You

God Has the Best in Store for You!  "For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly." Psalm 84:11 (KJV) The Lord God is a sun and shield. This depicts His presence, provision, and protection for His children. No one can hide from the sun; it gives light to all living things on Earth (Psalm 19:6). Likewise, God gives grace and glory to His children and doesn’t withhold good things from them. Is it not exciting to read this in His Word? It should make you stand and shout for joy because God has the best in store for you. Dear beloved, believe that God has given you grace and glory through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (John 1:17). Thank God for His grace and glory, and use them to enhance your life. Once you are a child of God, you have access to all of God’s blessings. Continually remain in Christ Jesus in spite of the challenges you are going through, and you will enjoy all of His goodn...

Your Good Deeds will Speak for You (Telugu)

Your Good Deeds Will Speak for You

“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;” Ephesians 1:15–16 (KJV) Nothing is hidden from the Most High; all the things we do on this earth are being watched by Him. He will commend our good works and will caution us when we are doing wrong. The saints in Ephesus were commended for their faith and love, and they were prayed for by Apostle Paul. We can be sure God answered Paul’s prayers by rewarding the faith and love of the Ephesian saints. Dear beloved, your faith and love for the brethren and even people outside the Christian faith will be commended and rewarded. God will raise men and women to pray for you when you engage in activities that help people in the society. Cease every opportunity to be a blessing to someone, and God will keep opening doors of blessings for you (Proverbs 12:2). Hallelujah! God bless you! Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank yo...

Praise Him Always.

Focus on His Praise!  “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.” Ephesians 1:11–12 (KJV) Knowing that God is doing all He can to bring out the best in you should prompt you praise Him without limits. As a child of God, you have countless inheritances in God: eternal life, the earth, the name of Jesus Christ, wealth, and peace, just to mention a few. The inheritances should motivate you to cooperate with God to bring out the best in you. Understand that His goal is for you to declare the praise of His glory. After He has finished with you, you will indeed testify that God is good (1 Peter 2:9). Those who will see His handiwork in you will also testify and give praise to His name. Remember that He chose you beforehand, so He cannot fail you and tarnish His reputation. Be conscious of His will and ...

Extra Mile

"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Matthew 5:44" Devotion : Jesus Christ brought a new and better order for us to follow. It is quite normal to hate your enemies, curse those who curse you, avoid those who hate you, and despise those who despitefully use and persecute you. But Jesus said to get a better and lasting result we need to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who despitefully use and persecute us. Jesus Christ himself is a good example of his own words when he prayed for those who crucified him on the cross. Dear reader, do you want to go the extra mile for greater blessings? Then consider the above scripture! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

HIS PROMISES ARE SURE!

“For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” 2 Corinthians 1:19–20 (KJV) A promise is a declaration or assurance that one will do something or that a particular thing will happen. There are lots of promises in God’s Word for the children of God: promises of good health, long life, favor, marriage, a career, etc. All of these promises are tied to Christ Jesus; it is only in Christ Jesus that these promises are sure of being fulfilled in our lives (Colossians 1:27). In other words, those who are not born again cannot have access to these promises. Dear beloved, meditate on the opening scripture, and believe it. He has already said yes to any promise that you are laying claims to, so never worry or complain. Love and praise Him for the promises you are laying claim to, fulfill every condition pert...

HE IS WORKING FOR YOUR COMFORT !

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3–4 (KJV) Ignorance is responsible for the plight of some Christians in the Kingdom of God. No Christian can be blessed above the knowledge of God’s Word in them. As children of God, we should come to terms with the fact that tribulation is part of our walk with God (Matthew 10:22–24). All the patriarchs went through tribulation one way or another. One thing was guaranteed though: God was with them and comforted them in the end by bringing their miracles to pass. Dear beloved, God is aware of the tribulations or afflictions you are going through, and He is working behind the scenes to bring you to a comfortable place. The opening scripture buttresses this and says God is merciful to comfort us in our...

INSEPARABLE

"And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, Matthew 19:4" Devotion : Jesus Christ has hit the nail right on the head; God sees the couple as one flesh and so should we. However, it takes effort to think and do things as one flesh since the couple come from different background. It is very important for the couple to replace their background with the potent Word of God. This is the only way to stay one flesh. Let us leave the joining and putting asunder to God to take care of. God bless you. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

KEEP TRUSTING GOD. HE FAILS NOT

Don’t Lose Your Trust in Him!  “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5 (KJV) Serving the Lord with understanding puts all struggles to rest. As a child of God, you must understand that God is a Spirit; He is a good God and cannot go back on His Word (Hebrews 6:18). He said we can only please Him when we fellowship with Him in faith (Hebrews 11:6). It takes faith to have access to all His promises; therefore, when we pray and commit all our ways or plans to Him, we should trust Him and have faith that He will do what He has promised. The woman with the issue of blood for twelve years was healed because she put her faith to work. Dear beloved, don’t stop believing in God’s Word because the promises of God have delayed. They may tarry, but they will surely come to pass if we don’t lose heart (Habakkuk 2:3). Keep trusting and believing His Word, and He will glorify Himself in your life. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer! Prayer Point: Dear...

Do you know the fruit of Righteousness?

Do You Know the Fruit of Righteousness?  “In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.” Isaiah 54:14 (KJV) You are the product of the knowledge you have inside you. No Christian can advance further than the knowledge of God’s Word in them. Righteous living has countless blessings for the child of God. The opening scripture highlights some of them: When we live a righteous live, God establishes us firmly in Him, we become far from oppression, fear has no power over us, and we are free from terror. Dear beloved, it pays to live a righteous life. God hastens to deliver the righteous from trouble for His name’s sake (Proverbs 11:9). In Christ Jesus, we become the righteousness of God. We are empowered to overcome sin. Therefore, let us not allow sin to deny us of the inheritances we have in Him. Hallelujah! God bless you! Prayer Point: Dear Holy Spirit, thank you for your knowle...

God is Faithful

“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9 (KJV) Faithfulness is one of the moral attributes of God. It is the quality of being loyal. God is always faithful with His Word. Any time He makes a promise, He fulfills it. Even when we are faithless, He remains faithful (2 Timothy 2:13). When Adam and Eve sinned against God and refused to repent, God still provided for them. Even though He drove them out of the Garden of Eden, He promised to send Jesus Christ to crush the serpent and pay for their sin (Genesis 3:15). He was true to His Word, and Jesus came to sacrifice His life for the sin of mankind. What He expects from us is that we would take advantage of His faithfulness and be saved. Dear beloved, if you are still not born again, it is time to give your heart to Christ. He is the good shepherd, and He will take good care of you (John 10:11). Let us learn from the faithfulness of God and be faithful to Him in our se...

What Work Are You Doing?

What Work Are You Doing?  “But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.” John 5:17 (KJV) Work was created by God for every human being on Earth. He made work to be an inherent part of human beings. He demonstrated that He is a working God by creating heaven and the earth. He didn’t stop there but spent six days filling the earth to make it complete before He rested on the seventh day. Thus He asked mankind to work for six days and use the seventh day for rest and worship. Jesus Christ, in His ministry, also demonstrated that the Father has not ceased working, so He even healed people on the Sabbath day (John 5:8–9). Dear beloved, you have no excuse for refraining from working. Laziness is not part of the Kingdom of God, hence find yourself a career (Proverbs 18:9). Ask God to help you find a job according to the ability He has put in you so that you don’t become a burden on society. May the Lord be your help. Hallelujah! God bless you! Prayer Point: Dear Lord Je...
