TWO MASTERS

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:24"
Devotion : When Jesus Christ used the word "serve" He used to represent total devotion. In other words, no one can be totally devoted to two masters. Due to personal differences, he will be drawn to one than the other; hence love one and hate the other. God and mammon or worldly riches are two different masters; you cannot choose both since God demands full devotion to Him, spirit, soul, and body. Jesus Christ said what shall it profit a man if you gain the whole world and lose your soul. It means if you are given the opportunity to choose, choose to serve God. Dear reader, if you have the opportunity to make a choice between serving God and worldly riches, what will you choose? I will counsel you to - (Matthew 6:33)
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
