All Things Are Working for Your Good!

“But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel; So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places; And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.” Philippians 1:12–14 (KJV)

The goal of the Most High is that all His children will come to a place of maturity in Him. God only gives the most difficult tasks to those children of His who are spiritually mature. Apostle Paul is a good example of a spiritually mature child of God. He never complained about terrible things that happened to him, such as imprisonment, scourging, hunger, shipwreck, etc. He understood that they all created opportunities for him to preach the gospel. In other words, they worked for the good of God’s Kingdom because lives were transformed and many were brought to salvation. Dear beloved, learn from Apostle Paul, and never complain about the terrible things that are happening to you. Let them be an occasion to testify about Jesus Christ because God allowed them for a good reason. He wants you to mature and be qualified for the difficult tasks and greater blessings of His Kingdom (Ephesians 4:13–14). Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the difficult things that are happening to me because of my faith in you. I know they will give me an occasion to testify of the gospel and the expansion of your Kingdom. Amen!
