What Work Are You Doing? 
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.” John 5:17 (KJV)

Work was created by God for every human being on Earth. He made work to be an inherent part of human beings. He demonstrated that He is a working God by creating heaven and the earth. He didn’t stop there but spent six days filling the earth to make it complete before He rested on the seventh day. Thus He asked mankind to work for six days and use the seventh day for rest and worship. Jesus Christ, in His ministry, also demonstrated that the Father has not ceased working, so He even healed people on the Sabbath day (John 5:8–9). Dear beloved, you have no excuse for refraining from working. Laziness is not part of the Kingdom of God, hence find yourself a career (Proverbs 18:9). Ask God to help you find a job according to the ability He has put in you so that you don’t become a burden on society. May the Lord be your help. Hallelujah! God bless you!

Prayer Point: Dear Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for leading me to find a job according to my ability. Amen!
