Title: Come to Jesus now!

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28‭-‬29 ESV
Devotion: Nothing can ever be better than to rest after doing tedious job, when translated to spiritual life we understand the significance better.
 Let me try to explain thus: when you give your life to Christ, all the past habits are done with. Habits like smoking (calculate how much you spend on 20 sticks daily which you will not have to spend again, the cost of treatment for smoking related diseases), alcohol, gambling, womanizing and how much time you spend gossiping. Let's not talk of money spend on fetish objects to fortify yourself against enemies.  
From above it is obvious that so much resources, money and time is saved when you give your life. To remember that you're saved from going to hell is another joy of turning to Christ. 
  Dearly beloved, is it not better to turn to Christ and be free from heavy labour and suffering? Think about it today for tomorrow might be late 2 Cor 6:2, He is at the door knocking, Revelation 3:20, saying come I'll give you rest. You're welcome into Kingdom of God through His son Christ Jesus. Share your thoughts with us. Hallelujah!

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
