Devotion: A man proposes but God disposes. I wanted to either be an Architect or an Engineer, I struggled and struggled but I ended up a Family Physician. Such is life, I have touched more lives positively than I would have if I was an engineer or an architect.
  Therefore before you do anything, commit it to God and wait for him. He will definitely give you a sign of what He wants you to do. Failure to follow God's plan leads to struggle, you will not be contented. Struggle will not be your portion in Jesus name.
Dear reader, what is it that you wish to do Proverb 16:3, pray about it, pray for it and let God have a final say. Don't force your plan on Him ie pray on what you have determined to be or do. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
