Title: God's Unwavering Support

Joshua 1:9 reminds us, "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

Devotion:

In this scripture, God urges Joshua to find strength and courage, reassuring him of His constant presence. Joshua, overwhelmed by Moses' passing, needed encouragement to assume leadership and lead God's people to the promised land. Similarly, God has not given up on you! He is always with you, ready to guide and support you.

Just as Joshua eventually took courage and led the people to victory, you too can rise to leadership roles in your community or church. To do so, prepare yourself spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Be knowledgeable in God's Word and stay open to His guidance.

When called to lead, respond with an attentive spirit and act on God's Word. Celebrate your victories, knowing God is always with you. Share your thoughts and reflections!

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
