Title: What Confidence Do You Have?

"In him, we have confidence that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." - 1 John 5:14
Devotion: 
Where does your confidence lie? Is it in your wealth, power, position, or relationships? As a child of God, our confidence should be rooted in Him alone.
  True confidence comes from knowing that God hears us when we pray according to His will. But how can we know His will? By searching the Holy Scriptures and seeking His plan for our lives.
  God has a master plan for everything He has made, and He desires to fulfill it through us. When we align our lives with His will, we can experience true fulfillment and blessing.
  Let's shift our confidence from earthly things to God alone. Let's seek His will and pray with confidence, knowing that He hears us.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
