Title : Who Do You Run To When Trouble Knocks?

"My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word. Psalm 119:28"
Devotion : The kind of person you run to in times of need will determine the kind of help you will receive. Some people put their trust in their position only to realize that their position has been given to someone else. Others put their faith in people only to hear that such people are no more, and then their hope is dashed.     The psalmist was wisge enough to put his faith in the Word of God. In times of heaviness in his soul, he ran to the Holy Scriptures for strength.
Dear beloved, let us learn from the psalmist, and occupy our soul with the Word of God. Let the Holy Scriptures take over our mind and our thinking processes. We should also run to God in prayers to seek His face and make our petitions known to him. This is the teaching of Paul to the Philippians (Philippians 4 :6).
When we combine word of God with prayers we find strength and enablement to make wise decisions and good choices for a fulfilling life. Hallelujah!
