Title: God's Judgment on Thieves.

Scripture Focus:
"You shall not steal." — Exodus 20:15 (NKJV)
"The wicked earns deceptive wages, but he who sows righteousness gets a sure reward." — Proverbs 11:18 (ESV)
Reflection
Stealing may seem minor in the eyes of the world—sometimes even clever. But in God's eyes, it’s a serious offense against both divine law and the dignity of fellow human beings. From petty theft to grand deception, the act of taking what isn’t ours reveals a heart distanced from righteousness and justice.
God’s judgment is consistent: He condemns theft not merely because of what is taken, but because of what it represents—greed, deceit, and disregard for others.
  In Zechariah 5:3, God declares:
> “This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole earth: every thief shall be expelled.”
This isn’t just about earthly punishment—it’s spiritual exile. The thief sets themselves against God’s covenant, distancing themselves from His favor.
 Biblical Examples and judgement.
- Achan's Theft (Joshua 7): After stealing forbidden items, Achan brought defeat and shame to Israel. God's response was swift and sobering.
- Judas Iscariot: Though he walked with Jesus, Judas's heart was corrupted by greed. His theft from the disciples' treasury (John 12:6) foreshadowed his betrayal, ending in tragedy.
Call to Repentance
The good news? God's judgment isn’t just final—it’s also redemptive for those who turn from wickedness.
"Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands." — Ephesians 4:28
God offers restoration. The same hands that once took can now give. The heart that once schemed can now serve.
 Prayer
> Father,
> Purify our hearts and remove every deceitful desire.
> If there’s any way in us that steals—be it time, trust, or treasure—reveal it and restore us.
> Let us walk in integrity, reflecting Your justice and mercy.
> In Jesus' name, Amen.
