Title : Can You Be Obedient in All Things.

"For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. 2 Corinthians 2:9"

Devotion : Apostle Paul is one of the greatest leaders ever to have existed in the kingdom of God. He was concerned about the conduct of his converts in Corinth. He wanted to know whether hitherto they had been walking in obedience; not just one time obedience or obedience in some things, but obedience in all things.
 Apostle Paul came to a point of maturity that he could discern that the Holy Scriptures were true; therefore, they must be obeyed entirely. This should also be our attitude towards the Holy Bible; we should not choose what scripture to obey and what not to obey.
  Let us also be wise enough to judge the words/conducts we hear/see from our church leaders with the Holy Scriptures so that we are not deceived. This is only possible if we read and allow the Holy spirit to interpret the word of God for us. Therefore we must read it regularly and be filled with the Spirit of God.
 Then the spirit will teach us to follow the leaders who can help us obey the true gospel in all things, amen.

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial.
