Title: Sufficient Grace.

Key Verse:
"But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
Reflection: There are moments in life when our strength fails, our plans unravel, and our hearts feel overwhelmed. In those moments, we often cry out for relief, for change, for answers. The Apostle Paul knew this intimately. He pleaded with God to remove a "thorn in the flesh," a persistent struggle. But instead of removing it, God responded with a promise: “My grace is sufficient for you.”
This is not a dismissal of our pain—it’s a divine assurance. God’s grace doesn’t always eliminate the struggle, but it empowers us to endure it. It’s the kind of grace that meets us in our weakness and transforms it into a platform for His strength.

 What Is Sufficient Grace?
- It’s sustaining grace.
God’s grace holds us up when we feel like falling. “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you…” — Psalm 55:22
- It’s empowering grace.
Grace is not just pardon—it’s power. “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” — Hebrews 4:16
- It’s transforming grace.
Grace doesn’t leave us where it found us. It shapes us into the image of Christ. “For the grace of God has appeared… teaching us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness…” — Titus 2:11–12

 Application:
Today, you may be facing a thorn of your own—a hardship, a weakness, a burden. Instead of asking “Why?”, ask “What now, Lord?” His grace is not just enough—it’s more than enough. It’s sufficient for every trial, every temptation, every tear.
Let His power rest on you. Let His grace carry you. And let your weakness become the canvas for His glory.

Prayer
Father, thank You for Your sufficient grace. When I am weak, You are strong. Help me to lean into Your power and not my own. Teach me to trust Your grace in every season, knowing that You are working through my weakness for Your glory. Amen.
