DO YOU FEEL SHY PRAISING HIM?
Do You Feel Shy Praising Him?
“Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.” Psalm 18:49–50 (KJV)
Shyness is being nervous or timid in the midst of other people. It is an aspect of fear that the devil casts on believers in Christ to rob them of what rightfully belongs to them. The psalmist was bold to give thanks to God even among the ungodly nations. He demonstrated his faith everywhere without shame. This is the kind of lifestyle that God wants us to imitate. As a child of God, you are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). Thus let your Christianity be seen by everyone who comes into contact with you. It should be easy for you to thank and praise God everywhere you find yourself, especially when the Spirit of God prompts you. Be bold and joyful to carry your Bible among your friends or relatives. Be quick to give God praise because it leads to receiving the next miracle from God. Hallelujah! Be bold!
Prayer Point: Dear Lord, may I never be too shy to give you thanks and praise every day, amen!
