Do You Want an Excellent Life? 
“O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.” Psalm 8:1 (KJV)

Enjoying an excellent life doesn’t come by chance. It starts by recognizing the source of excellence. What is the source of excellence? The opening scripture gives us the key to excellence; its source is the LORD, and His name is excellent. In this new dispensation, He has revealed Himself in the name of Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus Christ is excellent. Getting to know Him and giving your heart wholly to Him catapults you into excellence as well as you become part of His family and are now qualified to use His name (Ephesians 3:15). Believing in and using His name produces excellence in you. And continually praising His name takes you to a higher level of excellence. Hallelujah! God bless you!

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
