Do You Want to Be Satisfied? 
“All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.” Ecclesiastes 1:8 (KJV)

Learning to be satisfied is a virtue that comes from the Spirit of God. The natural man is never satisfied; when he has one, he would like to have two. Whatever is attractive to the eye, that is what they would like to have. They also have itchy ears to listen; no wonder they are sometimes deceived. The born again Christian is admonished to be content with what God is doing in their lives (Hebrews 13:5). Learning to be content is a mark of maturity. God has promised to provide for us. He has even promised that He will never leave us or forsake us. Therefore, let us be satisfied and content with what He is doing in our lives; rushing to work for material things while neglecting the spiritual things in Christ can only lead to sorrow in the end. Enjoy and celebrate what you have, and He will lead you one step at a time to get to the destination He has ordained for you. Hallelujah! You are an overcomer!
