Stop Fear Before It Hinders Your Progress!

“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV)

Fear is a spirit that comes for the devil and his demons. Remember that the first time fear appeared in the life of mankind was when Adam and Eve sinned against God (Genesis 3:10). Fear is the product of the Fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden. The enemy casts fear into our lives when he foresees us making progress in the Lord. Dear beloved, it is not a sin to be afraid, but it becomes a sin if you allow it to stop you from carrying out what you ought to do for the Lord and humanity. To overcome fear, you need to be strong and courageous, knowing that God is with you. Therefore, in the midst of your fear, declare, “God has not given me the spirit of fear; I have power, love, and a sound mind. Fear, I command you to disappear” (2 Timothy 1:7). Then go ahead and speak in tongues, and the fear will disappear. Hallelujah! Glory to God!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for giving me power over fear. I will not allow fear to stop me from making progress in Jesus’ name. Amen!
