Title: Did you see the Star?

When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Devotion: Compliments of the season, but wait let me ask you a question - did you see the Star? 
  Many of us are busy buying gifts, food stuffs and clothes and perhaps travelling to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Unfortunately many didn't see the Star because they are still living in the self, alive to self. Some saw the Star but failed to comprehend the essence of the season. 
The Star brought joy unlimited to those who know and saw Jesus and believe in Him. 
 If you have not seen Jesus I urge you to diligently seek Him now so that your joy will be full and your gifts will be acceptable to Christ.

Title: When your time shall be over, you'll fly away.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
