Title : God's Hospitality

"Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. 1 Chronicles 16:11"
Devotion : The opening scripture forms part of the song David sang to the Lord. David had realized the importance of seeking the Lord for His strength, in fact he had realized the benefits of the continual face seeking of the Lord.
  The Apostles/followers of Christ also know the importance of praying without ceasing, in Acts 12:5 they prayed until Peter was released miraculously.
  God is ever ready to host His children who call on Him; He is never weary or bored by His children.
 God is very hospitable and receives everyone with open arms. There is nothing too little to speak to Him about; He is always ready to listen to us. Have you taken that your request to Him, He's waiting for you, that is why you must "Pray without ceasing" according to 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
